  • sorry, but turkey is a part of the middle eastern region and more so than it is with europe. Turkey was always a bit of a grey area since it was an unlicensed region so it could've participated in tournaments of other cf versions but now since turkey is under the responsibility of cf west this decision is final ...

It was ok to mix and match in previous regional tournaments but this isn't cfel where any players can just shag around with other players from different countries so you have to be prepared to disband your team at moments notice just like this. I suspect that this might be the direction where smilegate is taking us so carbon might not even be able to form a team with their canadian players again at cfs this year. It's not fair for only the other teams to have been faced with this fate so the same rules should apply to you as well ...

I presume that you're either dizayn or real so options are limited this time around and you'll have no choice but to team up with other turkish players. In the future, you can try moving to portugal so that you can be guaranteed to play with the team you desire ... (idk, maybe you guys can team up with flexx since he could be turkish as well providing he doesn't have 2 years of residence in portugal)

    agree +1
  • so you are saying that let turkish players choose which qualifier they want to play if it is going to be like this also let Egypt - Europe - North Americaplayers to choose which qualifier they want to play

No way in hell! CFEL is totally Smilegate's business and only theirs. WCG or CFS by comparison isn't so every version should be held to the same standards of one nationality/residence regardless of whether or not their in elite/professional league ...

Finally, Smilegate are putting their foot down where teams must consist of same nationality/residence! There's absolutely no way in hell Smilegate should open up themselves to the possibility where Carbon would be able to acquire Snox for international tournaments and likewise that applies to Golden V being able to acquire supamen as well ...

It was tolerated before but it wasn't acceptable to the other international teams ...

making the teams from the same nationality makes 0 sense xD the number of players is already limited to put even more limitations not so say importing players is a thing in e sport if i may remind you, so idk this makes 0 sense

It makes a lot more sense than you're willing to give it credit for ...

For the regions that matter in CF West such as the US, Germany, Egypt, Turkey, and maybe Canada, there's already big enough competitive scene with plenty of decently skilled players so there's no need for teams to get so greedy ...

If importing players is a thing in e-sports then Hexagone and the others should be the ones burdened with supporting their players to gain residence otherwise they should just disband and reform new teams ...

This limitation exists so that teams from other versions don't face unfair competition from a mixed team ...

there is obviusly something wrong when u say " there's already big enough competitive scene "

Did you take a look at how many teams there are in CFCL Open ? Competitive isn't just centered around select teams in CFEL ...

How hard could it be for FLEXX and Dizayn to find at least two decent Turkish players ? (assuming their plans are to include Real again)
  • I dont get ur problem, if u play MENA qualifier u will lose, same for EU
