Xtrap wont let me play crossfire

Since today i got this annoying XTRAP error and im rly ****ed...



Any solutions? I deleted all the xtrap files,then letted him to redownload them,nothing...,tried to close my antivirus before running the game,nothing...whats the problem? X(

how about ur firewall, turn it off just to see if it solves the problem. I had a problem CF wont start (happened today) it was awful, I just deleted the crossfire folder in my docs, then it worked just fine (to delete all settings but with ur screenshots and replays)

same happened to me, I cant play! I cleanly reinstalled CF with no luck (all traces of CF where wiped 100% clean (took 2 hours to wipe), then to reinstall, still aint working :S

i have exactly the same problem as him ... it seems that xtrap fails to launch. i have tried too stop FW and AV but it did not helped, tried also unsinstalling and deleting everything concerning XTRAP and Crossfire , resinstalled and problem is still here

The same thing happens to me I tried just about Everything I even turned off all my antivirus disabled internet and turned it back on it still don't work Please help us I thing that some one Hacked X-Trap with the update and they need a new game gaurd type thing

a side note aswell, this has happened to me today, I tried system restore to yesterday, didnt work, the problem seems to be with Z8games' server, I am in desire to play, so ugh, please fix?

Same problem. And its like it just popped up today. I heard X-trap had an update like yesterday or early this morning...but idk if thats true and even if it is idk if thats the problem...

i tried to play from my laptop and it works lol,but i suck on my laptop...(not used to it anymore),i STILL DONT GET WHATS THE PROBLEM.

SAME windows XP version on BOTH laptop and PC
Different antiviruses BUT both shutted down for the test
On Laptop it starts,on PC it doesnt(same,on both systems,cf reinstalled for the test)

WTH HAPPEND? Between what? 16 hours? from my last play and my first error today,I DIDINT installed nothing,no settings changed,and i got that error...

well i got that message too, and for 2h i was trying to get game running, until i had an idea...
i could play Crossfire yesterday, but today, after XTrap patch, i couldn't, so i did a system restore to most recent checkpoint, and bingo, game worked, but after playing for few hours i was d/c from game and same error appeared... so that is only temporarily solution...

Yeah, i have the same problem. XTrap updated (April 3, 2010) and it wouldn't let me in the game: it gave me that same error on the first post.

i tried this:
-Resinstalling the Game
-Deleting the XTRAP Folder and Repatch it
-Turning off My Anti-Virus and Firewall

nothing worked.

My Computer:

• Windows 7 Home Premium
• Intel
• nVidia
• Antivirus: HP, Windows, and AVG Free
• Firewall: Windows Firewall, and Comodo

Ugh i've been at this for hours and so far i've re-installed cf, deleted the X-trap folder, even deleted the patches but x-trap reinstalled them after i try to play again

Those of you with Gamebooster I found the Solution!!!
1.Disable All Virus Scanners etc.
2.Open Gamebooster or go to google and type in gamebooster update and update it!
