It would be much more simple of Z8 just made an EU server instead, Also this thread was hilarious and I enjoyed reading. thanks everybody. -
Its not going to work... You say you got 10 peoples but you need more than 10 peoples to run a FPS game. Also need a lot of money, Dam good Internet connection, Pro coders or good coders, Good computers that will work for 24/7 hours. You need to buy a place where you are going to put all this up etc.... I don't think you can do all of this within 10 peoples. I got 5 words to say "This is going to FAIL! Am sorry to say that but it is.

He surely wouldn't have to either, and if so, a team of two would easily meet the small bugfix-requirementa non-dev coder would do. -
He would need licensing, permissions and all sorts of trademarks. It's not going to happen with someone who can't spell half of his words correctly.
i think weve already stated all of those...lol but you can never give too much information more than once. -
Let's think of this in a realistic way.
You will need about 100-200 € a month for renting a server that is able to afford about 300-400 Players.
You will need technical knowledge of (i'm just guessing) MySql, Php (on the web side of the service) and knowledge of how a gameserver works.
You will need license from Neowitz. I don't know what that is going to cost. And i don't think they will give you (as private newcomer) those licenses - and the files - so easily. (Because just the files in your installation are not everything, there's much more on the servers!)
Do you trust your poeple? Antihack program should be included, too, and I don't think they are so cheap.
Of course you will have to found a company able to handle the money flows, licenses etc. You have to be 18+ years old to do that.
I assume (and just assume) that monthly cost is about 1000-5000 €.
For 1 server.
The other choice would be to host everything by yourself, and not to rent a server. That would include:
Internet Provider Costs for Business Internet (Much, much upload speed)
Rent for a proper location (NOT at home ofc.)
Technical equipment (Computers, ventilation system etc.)
Technical staff (unless you want to stay for the rest of your life in the server room)
Much more costs at the beginning, but less over time.
Guess: Starting costs for 2 servers 10 000 € monthly: 1000 - 2000 €
Of course you would be able to make an item shop - or a monthly payment system like in WoW. At 600 Players a 10 € monthly = 6000 € Monthly. Should be enough I suppose.
(Source: I'm part of a group of students in Europe that already planned to do a server. We are probably going to start our project in 2011 or 2012 (if we still are alive) )

Im 29 and my friends are 20+,i trust em and the protection will be X-trap or gameguard or something else,we will finish the site in 1 week and if u want to know weve started our project like 1 month ago,no files needing anymore just the client the licenses and the server,we will finish by a week the website.

You have no idea what it is to publish and run a game.
Please don't try. Z8 have years of experience and still aren't very good at it.

depends on what do you want from the game, if you want jus money regardless on wat you offer you just copy paste from other versions like z8 and sell vip's under other name. If you want a clean game you must worry about hakers, security, updates etc. z8 idiots have a real update 1-2 times a year. crossfire like we all know it (hakers, long wait for a real update not reskin, PR's insolence, mods coursing players in the game, stealing money from players, banning players for no reason etc.) is death ava is way ahead of it and next year even ava will be outclassed by Battle Territory - Battery - Arctic Wind. games like warrock , crossfire and combat arms will be played by players with old pc. -

If im not mistaken(Maybe I am). Doesnt he need approval of the Z8Games to "COPY" thier game.. Becuz i think ive seen theese copyrights figures everywhere when you enter the game.

The boring part of CF EU is that i have to re-make my account. Begin from ground 0 again..
