saintNooby's ZM Guide Draft.
SaintNooby's Mutation Mode Guide!!
So hey guys, I decided to make this. Im hoping this wont be a beginners guide, and im hoping everyone will learn from it.
First of all : About the mode.
Everybody starts of as a Human, They are given 20 seconds to go and hide/find a spot. When this time runs out, 1 or 2 'Titans' will mutate. There goal is to then mutate all other humans. While the humans try and kill the zombies. Zombies Hps depends on the type of Zombie they are, and the amount of humans there are, when they mutate. For example if the room is only 8 players, the zombie will have 2000 HP, but in 16 player room, They can have 6,000 HP.
How do you get points?
If you are a zombie, You get a 'kill' for every human you mutate. But as well as that, You get a Kill for every mutation, the person you mutated gets.
For humans, You get a kill for every 1,000 dmg you too. You also get a kill for finally killing the zombie.
The winning team also gets a kill, for all the people alive.
Ok, Lets go into the Guide now.
Weapons + Items
Which guns are the best?
Mp5/[Adv]- Very Light, Which means quicker running speed. High ROF, which means you can push Zombies back quicker than other the guns. More ammo and quick reload meaning you can fend of zombies longer than other guns.
RPK – The gun I use, personally I think it's the best gun for this mode, Will be better when the camo version is released. This gun has 80 Ammo In a clip. Very powerful, which means it can push zombies further back. It also has decent running speed for a big ass MG like it is. You can run a lot quicker with RPK than with M60, That's why I use it over the M60. It is also surprisingly accurate for long range.
M60/[Adv]- Another good gun to use for Zombie Mode, If you are a 'camper' then I recommend this gun, The amount of ammo, owns all other guns, and can push back zombies for almost a minute [1 Round] if your careful with your ammo.
AWM/[Camo] – if your a good sniper and like camping, then definitely use the AWM. People think it's stupid using a sniper in this mode, It really isn't. As long as you have a pistol for when you have to running about, definitely use this gun. It's high dmg, I think a hs is 500 Dmg. Which means in about 5 shots you can kill a Zombie. It's high power pushes zombies further back than any other gun also.
AK-47/[Camo/Gold] – If you love rifles, Like me, Then I'd recommend the AK as the best rifle to use. It's Light, It has high power, and quicker reload – firing time than other rifles. If your an ZP Buyer then get the camo/gold version of the gun. [+Silver] The extra ammo helps! >.< Obviously :P
Secondary guns: I strong recommend you buying a secondary gun. Even if it's just a glock or something. Just in case you run out of your primary ammo, Your Glock could give you those 2 extra secs to get in a camping spot or too a support crate.
Nadezz : Yes nades are important!. Seen people making posts saying 'Flashes are useless'. NO. You should get everything you can! I have been saved by a flash nade before! And countless times have I been saved by smoke nades. . I recommend you buying the Extra Nade slot and buying all 3. [Mutation Nade if you have ZP]. (Will come back too later)
Melee : Yep. Even melee helps in GM. I know im Anti-Shovel. But I have to say Shovel is best for Mutation mode. It's high dmg [200 I think] to the head, and if no ammo left, You might as well go for it . X]
Okk OTHER ITEMS.
Mutation Defence: Some people say it's nooby, I personally don't care, It's normally from noobs with SWAT + SL, who can't afford ZP. Mutation defence is a ZP item, which means the first time you get hit by a zombie, It blocks it. I dont think I need to explain how thats useful.
50% Mutation Mode Extra Mags: These help no end, Highly recommend this item if you are serious about ZM. And dont mind spending some extra GP. This combined with the normal 'Extra mag' means you basicly have unlimited ammo. I have 80/320 with my RPK, and 10/70 with my Gold deagle. ;]
'Spike' : This is a zombie mode item, increases ROF, and range of your hit. It's cheap, and effective. [ZP]
I think that's all for Items/weapons.
The Perfect Bag [ZP]
Primary : RPK
Secondary: Deagle[Camo/Gold]
Melee: Shovel
Nades :Mutation nade/ Red Smoke / Flashbang
Other Items : Mutation defence, Extra Bags.
The Perfect Bag [GP]
If you are serious about becoming good at ZM, and cannot/dont want to buy ZP, then you should probably make a new account, Rank up to SSGT. With M16. Then you should probably get.
Primary – M60
Secondary – P228
Melee – Knife
FragNade/RedSmoke/Flash
Other Items: Extra Nade Slot, 50%+ Mags.
How to use weapons effectively?
Prim. Guns: With guns, single/burst fire is the way to go. You can control the recoil easier this way, which means more bullets hit the zombie which = More dmg! It's also a way to preserve ammo, for when you really need it. Also obviously only shoot when necessary, If you see a zombie running past you, but long way away, Dont bother wasting ammo. [Unless low hp, then it's diff :P]
Second. Guns: 3 Occasions I use my deagle. 1 is when im running away from 1 – 3 zombies, It's quicker while having deagle equipped, and you can still shoot/reload while running at high speed. Second is when I have to somehow fend zombies of for 1:30 + Min. Especially when there's only a few near you, save your primary weaps ammo for when you have 15 trying get you . Other time is when your safe, and your tryng to be greedy stealing zombie kills >:]
Nades: Frags : I only use my mutation nade when there is a bunch of zombies together, 2 Good examples are when you are on the roof of 13, and you throw a nade to where they are stacking, Not only does it do high dmg to the nades, but it 90% pushes them all of the edge which buys you more time. Other is at B on Port. When they are climbing up the crates.
Flashes : 3 Ocasions when I use flashes. 1 is at the start of the game, and there is a lot of potential zombies around me, I will flash, and since I have flash guard , I can normally get away from then without them following me ;] Another is when you are camping, and need to buy a few secs to reload your weapons, Throw a flashbang, and if thrown well, will give you enough time to reload ;D. Other occasion is when your running away with no ammo. Run towards a wall, then throw the flash, so it bounces of the wall, and goes behind you. If done correctly, it will miss you, but flash the zombie.
Smoke Nades: Not as useful as the other nades. But neverless, It can buy you seconds. Normally, when im about to be the last man standing, I will throw a smoke nade just in front of me. When your lucky zombies will run past you, and it may give you another 10 secs before the zombies find you again.
Okayz, Onwards to the more guidy stuff.
Tecniques as Human.
Leet Camper
Teamwork Campers
Teamwork Hunters
The Ninja
The Noob Hider
Noob Camper
The Leet Camper – A Camper who camps but moves, Going to different camping spots all the time. This meaning, your team doesn't really know where you are [for when they mutate].
Teamwork Camping - Teamwork can work, Although, when you have a noob team, generally it doesn't. If there is a group of you @ A @ Port for example. Watch your teamates. If there are zombies are coming up the ramp, and they're shooting and keeping them back, You don't need to shoot as well, wait for them to reload then take over. Amazing how easy it is to run straight up that ramp, because they're all reloading at the same time. Also NEVER go down, Unless it's clearly safe.
Teamwork Hunting – I recommend only doing this with friends or with people you know have common sense. Clues in the name. You move ina group, preferably with Mgs, and hunt the zombies. Trap them in corner, and again take in turns to reload/fire.
The Ninja – Im somewhat famous for my ZM Ninja skills, Lol ;]
On a map which will be released soon, it is a lot easier and you will see more of it. But this is when you constantly move running away from zombies, for example my favorite spot is on Zone 13, where there is the car and 4 containers, I jumped around there with 7 mutants after me for a whole 1.40 Mins. :P Few tips : Use the Mp5. Keep jumping about from object to object, make sure you make your jumps random, so they dont see a pattern. If you are running away, You should back hop. Which is simple, run backwards, Jump then jump before you hit the ground and keep repeating. This is a lot quicker than running + in GM it's called the 'Tank Jump' as you can tank more shots while doing it, due to bad coding.
The Noob Hider – True hiders never really do well. Since most of the spots everyone knows. But if you are deciding to hide, Make sure you at least have an escape route. I lol @ the people who hide in containers. Absolutely NO chance if group of zombies come.
The Noob Camper - This is a camper who rely on someone boosting him onto a high place, so zombies cannot reach him. Aka the Roof on 13. But since this is a guide, I'll give you some tips while on the roof. If you see that they are stacking, use SECONDARY, always make sure primary is reloaded. This means, if a Zombie makes it onto the roof, You can switch to Primary gun, and push him of the roof.
Jumping Techniques
The Back-Hop.
Mentioned Before, this is when you are standing while hopping, It's a lot quicker than running, and it's also easier to 'tank' while doing it. To do it, Run back a few steps, then jump, and keep jumping just before you hit the ground.
The D-Jump.
This is to get onto small sized crates. Like the crate, next to BW's A Site window. To do this, Run up to the crate jump, then just before you hit the floor, jump again, but this time crouch in midair, and you will climb onto the box.
The T-Jump/ Lag jump
The Triple jump, this gets onto medium sized boxes. Like the big crates on Port. To do this, Hold W+S and then jump while crouching. This is a hard jump.
The S-Jump
The highest jump of them all, Never seen anyone do this on this version, But it's almost the same as the T-Jump. But you hold W+S jump don't crouch, and 360 spin at same time. Dont ask me how it works, it just does. This gets onto BL Spawn on NM Port. 1 MAN!.
The 'G' Jump for Zombies. As you probably know, once you get a kill when your zombie, You get a powerup, activated by pressing 'G', This is a adrenaline boost which costs you 500 HP. It gives you 2x Speed and more resistance to bullets. But also it lets you jump a lot further than normally. You should also try bhopping while 'G', So fun x].
Stacking is useful for both Humans and Zombies. If your going to stack, CHILL and do it. Stop having a orgy in the corner, and just take your time to jump on guys head and get up. Spamming jump wont get you anywhere. If there are some morons with you flash them and or spam the Enemy spotted Macro, Hopefully they'll f**k off.
Some More Random Tips
Ramp Blockers!, Why do they do it? They block the ramp so that Mutants cannot get behind them. And only humans can come through up onto the platform. You can jump over them though, By jumping on the guy behind you's head, then jumping over.
Zombies Blocking Humans!. Yes this is very annoying. There are still ways to get them though. If a zombie is blocking a container entrance, then you can use a push technique, which is actually a semi-glitch. But since they're cheating anyway, I can't see anything wrong with it. You tap A+D Rly quick, while a zombie pushes into the back of you. You will go through the container wall, and huahusahu! Other annoying one is at B on Port. You can simply stack !! -.- The human is normally having too much fun shooting the idiot zombies tryna get past the Blocker.
Easiest way to get up ramp as Zombie: Easiest way is to face backwards, and run backwards while jumping, this tanks more shots than you would normally, plus I think zombies have more strength while running backwards, Idk why/if thats true, but once your up, You will jump over the humans, and behind them, Then they're screwed
'Fake afk' >:] Hehe, This has to be 1 of my favorite tricks. All you must do is stand still, then hopefully, some noob will come to you, start shooting you, wait till he reloads, and BAM,
Okayz, I think thats enough, I've probably missed loads , as I did this all tody and of the top of my head. Also excuse english and spelling ^-^. I will probably make a new one , with videos and Screenshots , so please think fo this as a draft. And give me some comments/opinions which will help me for my next one.
Looking for some volunteers to help me with my videos as well ^^.
Hope you like, hope you learned something, If you didn't sorry for wasting your time.

I rock a m60 with extra bag on the leg thing, and the MM extra clip.
With a deagle-c backup.
But I also like to awm / conda it up every now and then. -

Extra mags was 3k gp for a week......
And I don't know why you think it's a replay glitch. If it was a replay, I would have recorded fraps with fullscreen and the quality wouldn't be shyt. -

I KNOW it's a replay for 1 , You can see both Blue + Orange Names. In ZM gameplay, You cant see either. -.- SO LIES. And you were tryna hide the fact it was replay, thats why u have black Border. -
