Laser vs Optical mouse?

Omfg!!
NumberNin9 I use the same mouse o.o
But yeah.
The mouse to use is a high quality, high DPI, laser WIRED mouse for MMOFPS play.
Thoguh mainly because optical cannot handle the higher DPI which you need.
Optical = 400-800
Laser = 2000+
(though 2000 most likely would be too high :P, but like 1500, so no, are good speeds for quick and accurate aim. generally going lower or higher either decreases speed but increases accuracy or vice versa) -
I use a Mionix Saiph 3200. I don't think you can find it in America, cause it's a pretty new Swedish brand
-3200 dpi laser engine (on the fly)
-5 customisable buttons
-27g removable weight (in increments of 3g)
It's a very comfortable right-hand mouse, made of non-slip rubber.

Got it cheap for 47 Euros, considering its selling price is 59 Euros
For TC, I use about 2600dpi, very smooth tracking for headshots, and fast turns. I've been accused of hacking just cause of my turns. Oh, and I use a Razer Kabuto mousemat, since I game off my laptop. -

is there really a difference about the accuracy?
This depends on your mouse grip preference. Some people holds the mouse using claw grip other uses palm grip (I might have messed up the term so check them out on google or something similar)
I would recommend you go to the store and check out which mouse suits u best.
Now comes the important part. Whichever mouse (Laser, Optical, Infrared) you buy make sure that the driver has adjustable mouse settings, i.e. DPI settings, button customization etc.
MORE IMPORTANT PART: MOUSE PAD, it is an absolute must if you want to get high accuracy from your mouse.
A GOOD MOUSE with a BAD MOUSE PAD means disaster UNLESS u take the time to master it.
DECENT MOUSE with DECENT MOUSE PAD can comfortably get you "Headshots"
My personal preference for mouse is Razer DeathAdder. As for mouse pad I use Rocketfish gaming mouse pad, its cheap but it does the job.
Good Luck with your Mouse HUNT -
I also have a deathadder and it is a very nice mouse. For a mouse pad I would go with the QCK series pads. They are very nice smooth cloth pads and come in just about every size and they are not to much. I grabbed that biggest one off newegg for $14 and free shipping..

Nothing like a thread made by a ****** and replied by a pack of ******s. Not one single comment here was even remotely helpful. Don't get your hopes up this one wont be either.
Seriously though OP's question is so astoundingly dumb that I have to assume he is trolling since no one can be that ******ed. Y dont you just google it? www.google.com
Its a great site. After 10-15 min of looking you will come across something like this : http://www.head-fi.org/forums/f90/all-about-gaming-mouse-buyers-guide-mouse-fi-412804/
Which has a lot of helpful things about mice and which one is best for you.
Imo just buy a mx518 or quit the internet.
