The announced the names Gzz to the winners.
I have a question tho, why does known forumers always win something in this kindda events ?
I'm not sad or angry or anything but has anyone else noticed ?
Maybe because known forumers are used to writing a lot, so they have a way to convey words better than anyone else. After all this event was based on how well you can describe how much you deserve the weapon. Someone who can't speak English very well can't compete versus someone who speaks good english.
PS: Congrats to the winners!!!
I'm glad you won [T]oy, I know you wanted that m4a1 really badly.
Svanced, cuz I know you.
Zalstis, *facepalm* -
I always wanted a M4 Beast I cant believe I finally got one! Thank you so much, couldnt ask for a better gun for me !! (literally, cuz otherwise I wouldve picked something else lol)Maybe because known forumers are used to writing a lot, so they have a way to convey words better than anyone else. Thank you! Since the event is over, I can say how I wrote mine. Its pretty simple actually, I worded it like an actual lettter to Santa. -

They didn't go through and read every wish that everyone wrote, just picked 10 as fast as they could to make less work for themselves. That's why the winning entries weren't shared. What you wrote in your wish made absolutely no difference, it was just a ploy to make it seem less like a lottery. -

Im sure they all had great wishes, and with that additude most you are going to win is a bag of ice.
Im actually satisfied that i didn't win:
1) 2 of my friends won (grats svanced and zelly)
2) It shows all the haters on the forums that my other post doesn't make me special of some sort. (Gosh it was just a happy holidays note :l ) -

Come on mate, you honestly think they went through and read every wish lmao? Why would they bother with all that work when no one would know if they read them or not? They have enough work on their plate fixing and compensating for the other 4 events which were broken and didn't track or update, they aren't going to sit there and read hundreds of Christmas wishes for no reason. They would only check them all if the winning entries had to be shared with the community (like new skins for guns) because there would be uproar if rubbish designs won over good ones.
I promise you what you wrote in your Christmas wish made absolutely no difference to whether you won or not. That's the whole point of keeping entries private and not publicly shared, to avoid the extra work of having to check them all. Oldest trick in the book. Sorry if I'm ruining the illusion and Christmas spirit of "anything is possible if you wish for it hard enough", but they really don't care how badly you want that gun or how hard you wish. It's just a charade. -

I gotta admit, I like your style of typing, and pretty much agree with you, but you're not necessarily correct.
Reading Christmas wishes is less of a work more of an entertainment, I saw some wishes in the comment section on Facebook, I didn't have to read it, however I read it cause it gave me a chuckle.
They may have read couple of the wishes, and skipped the rest, who cares and seriously it doesn't matter anymore since the winners are already announced.
