I'm going to say yeah, they probably do care.
Even if they DID only care about money, more hackers = more people quitting = less money. -

Not sure how many are paid cheats but the ones in HMX and FFA that beg for VIP and cheat, I highly doubt they would pay for cheat.. considering it's all over YouTube and cheat site forums.
Would make sense more cheaters less money but let's be honest everyone who's an old player most likely plays because of nostalgia and will continue to play, they probably know that which is why it's been months now. -

crossfire is the only game which is stagnating or even developing into the wrong section. This hacking problem isnt new. We have the problem for more than 8 years.
The best solutions would be to create minior gms. Gms which are playing ingame and banning speed hackers or aim bots. Players who are using Wallhack should be reported on the website. -

That actually isn't a bad idea lol like some games they have ingame mods.
but maybe there just too many players and rooms to been searched and that would mean alot of people being hired that may not be trust worthy so it has alot of flaws. -
Yes, I suggested something similar years back which was laughed down. Game has really gone to sh1t (excrement, poo or whatever word isn't disallowed as you probably get punished more for swearing than for cheating). What a waste of time it is, playing now. Back a year or two I spent a lot of my money on VIP weapons, and what for? So that a bunch of cheating w@nkers (not hackers!!!!! Cheats!!!!!!!) can run around with impunity, ruining the game for everyone, taking the p1ss (urine, wee, whatever). It sucks big time and those responsible for controlling the game should hang their miserable heads in shame or get their lazy arses (bottoms, derrieres etc) in gear and sort out the problems that their clients/customers are having because those clients/customers will eventually **** off (go away, fornicate off, leave) but it's difficult to tell if any of them give a damn (hoot). Total waste of my time now, this game. You should be ashamed of yourselves, you'll take small fortunes of people for VIPs etc you bumch of rip-off merchants.

I remember back when the servers has NA 1 and NA 2 filled with lots of people. It was always hard trying to get into those servers.
Now there's barely any players in NA 1.
It feels like it can shut down at any moment now. Which I hope doesn't happen.
Crossfire is being outdone by newer and modern games. Sooner or later, if Crossfire does shut down, the only remains would probably be some private servers and youtube videos.
The direction that Crossfire is heading towards does not appears to be very promising and is very difficult to maintain positive outlook for this game's future. -

I don't think anyone should be worrying about Crossfire getting shut down since if Crossfire in China is still doing pretty amazing ( which I can't see not happening ) then things are going to keep on going on cycle. Like EU is pretty much dead ( and I mean its worse than NA trust me ) but it's still getting their monthly updates and their tournaments.
What would probably happen is some other company taking over Crossfire NA/UK if things get that bad but that even has a low chance of happening so yeah don't worry too much on Crossfire being gone cause people back in 2014 said this game would be dead and it's still got a pretty live community maybe not as live as it used to be but it's no where close to death. -

Are you saying that our developers might shutdown this game for good? well, considering the current situation of the game, i think it's possible that our dev's will drop this game for good, I've been a gamer for years now and I've had my shares of games who went completely dead hence shutting down for good.AlwaysSnipin wrote: »I don't think anyone should be worrying about Crossfire getting shut down since if Crossfire in China is still doing pretty amazing ( which I can't see not happening ) then things are going to keep on going on cycle. Imagine yourself running a game where none is filling the servers nor playing it on a daily basis, what you'll do ? you'll find another project to pursue right?
Like stated before, I've seen games who shut down their servers for good. besides, even CF KR has shut down once i believe (not sure). -

Well Z8 don't really own this project as a whole so it would have to be given to some other company to take care of and that would probably be all dealt with by Smilegate.
I've seen games get shut down aswel but they are usually the core publishers of that game so they have all right to shut down everything knowing that it's their project and that they can end it if they wanted to.
Feel like you're right about the CF KR thing but I can't really remember it so well but even so I think that would of been shut down temporally until they found another company to take on with that version. -

CF China is doing amazing, they got more content than we ever do. It's constantly updating.
I've personally never been on CF EU myself, but I do hear from other forumers that it's pretty much dead. As in no player base? or less than 200 players?
The fact that NA 1 and NA 2(Alpha and Bravo servers) are no longer filled up as they use to be worries me that CF is digging it's own grave.
I mean Runescape realizes when they messed up, and tried implementing community suggestions to bring it back alive. I know Runescape is Runescape and can never be Crossfire, but by the current feel of things happening around CF NA, it feels rather stagnant and not much action is done in trying to save the player base. I do give credit for them in giving away free weapons to newbies in order to keep them interested, but the end result doesn't seem to be very effective. -

OG player here, been here since Suba Games days, so welcome aboard to the story teller train, means i know it all ^^
Ohh i didn't knew about the whole situation of CF KR, thanks for the clarification.NinjaTeabag wrote: »CF China is doing amazing, they got more content than we ever do. It's constantly updating.

Alpha, Bravo, Charlie and Delta servers !!! god i miss those names =D i used to frag people with a 180 ping and they like "dafuq" xD
Overall, I hope this game won't shut down, and if they want to work hard on it then smilegate must look for another partner instead of z8 games ^^ -

Well if things get worse than it's a big flashlight on Z8 on what they want to do to get things rolling. The less people that play the game the more Z8 need to push forward onto improving the core game to bring people back and also new players.
If they do nothing and the game dies then probably a new company will take over and then we will see what they will do so it shouldn't be a worry on the game being finished but what will Z8 do to make people happy again cause right now nothing has been done but adding more reskins and VIP's and leaving all the huge issues on private mode which could mean:
A: They are whipping up something actually worth the wait and could be the answer to all our problems
B: They are trying to hide the fact that they have done nothing and can't be asked to do anything on the issues and would rather keep on pushing money products until the end.
either way we have no control of what happens but CF NA/UK ending is a low low low low chance of ending completely. -
You also forgot that FPS games are filled with immature, kids, degenerated and uneducated people, no wonder they would use cheats without worrying, also outside Asia, EU,NA and the rest of the continent are so demanding, always complain about everything, rude, has lack of respect(just look at people using chats and harassing players for no reason).

Lol amazing timing on this. Currently both versions are having a MASSIVE fallout with the developers because of 2 entirely different (Yet huge) ..."mess-ups".
And they've said nothing about it afaik. -
Runescape realized when they messed up big time when they realize how much their player base has shrunk.
Then Runescape tried to appeal to the community to salvage as much of their remaining player base. It became a massive success when they introduced Old School Runescape, it not only saved their player base, but brought back a lot of new and old players.
It might be a matter of time when Crossfire might do the same. Well depending if Crossfire is willing to try to appeal to the community. I hope to see Crossfire make a full recovery and see my old friends return to this game again. So many of them has quit and associated this game with lots of cheaters.
I believe Crossfire can be updated to compete with modern games. After all Runescape was able to do so. They remade their entire client and replaced all their models. But unfortunately for Crossfire, the problems not only lies with the game, but the social aspects of it as well. There seems to be a language barrier between players and some players are envious of other players because of their better equipment that they're able to dominate others. This is one of the reason why it leads players to start cheating, because they want to get back at these players with the better equipment. -
All they need to do is to look at ranked matches. Some players in the top 20 OBV hack. Just look at the high K/D. Example. 20,000 kills. 19,000 HS and only 1000 deaths. So easy for all to see.
: Where you get infracted faster than they ban cheaters, enjoy your stay. So true. -
Z8Games has an absolutely pathetic game management system.
"pls send ticket 2 repot hckers"
You gotta save a replay, then go onto the website to make a ticket and upload the report, and wait a damn long time to get any response. Meanwhile, the cheaters can just keep playing. Most of the time they're not even banned until over a week later. At least make the reporting system easier to use. How hard is it to add a "report" button inside the game?
Better yet, hire some devs with those thousands of dollars you get from selling VIRTUALLY NOTHING. You have a 100% profit margin from selling extremely overpriced online goods. Every VIP item that someone has means that at least $85 went to Z8Games.
I first played this game like 7 years ago, and not much has changed in the way of cheating. -
