Honorable Soldier Ribbon
These days who get prem ban from the game doesn't lose his HRS ribbon immediately..
It has become worthless , since If you own HRS You don't get a temporary ban !
But it's still count in ribbons and a lot of players lost it in the past (3~4)years but they are still playing ..
we have this thread : Ribbon Restoration which is 76.1% of Community agreed on it !
What do you think ? Can it be retrieved on condition?

Apparently it was argued that since they are permanently banned, why bother removing the HSR? They won't be returning to the Game with said account nonetheless.
My Stance on the Restoration of the Ribbon would still be that it should be reserved for Veterans with Registration years of about 2009 or 2010, not counting those who were banned temporarily because they cheated and the Anti-Cheat caught them.
...Well, then again, if a reasonable time has passed between the cheating offense and the request for restoration, then I might just be swayed to let it roll.
But as Grumpy(?) once stated, even non cheating bans were labeled Hack Offenses, so my argument just there most likely is moot. -
76.1% of the community are considered the 10-15 people who rightfully lost their H.S. ribbon and voted "yes" from 100 different accounts?
You lost it because you did something against the rules. Stop asking for it. Be thankful you can still play from your account.
If I was in charge, I would perm ban anyone acting against the rules, not just temp and remove a ribbon. In the restoration thread you read many valid reasons as why this ribbon shouldn't be returned and I'm pretty sure the GM team took them in consideration as well.
With so many hackers around, this ribbon is considered an achievement. I don't want players who abused the game against me and other clean players get it back. Stop asking for it. If you want it, then you shouldn't have lost it in the first time. Get over it and move on. -
Still these 250+ votes on that thread don't represent the community's opinion, as there are much more people playing this game
I agree with this. I believe that the majority of players who voted in that poll are people that come to the forums to moan about getting banned or their ribbon gone. It needs to be redone, large scale. Perhaps we could get an in-game poll system for things like that so we can see what people who are currently playing this game think. -

There was a bug back in 2011 or something.
If you logged in on a specific bugged day then you would lose your honorable soldier ribbon.
They fixed it by now but still, those people that lost it still lost it.
I agree that those who cheated/hacked should never get their HSR back but to those that lost it through a bug, i dont mind. -

As m1600 said, they can't tell the difference between the players who lost it because of hacking and those who lost it because of the bug. So it aint happening. -

Which unfortunately doesn't seem like it'll help when said log simply states that it was a ban due to cheating even if said offense wasn't one.[GM]Grumpy wrote: »Yes so this might need clarification. Even technical errors or mistakes sometimes are listed or displayed as hacking, so this is one thing. -

Hackers should be treated as such. HSR is a symbol of a honorable soldier just as its name suggests.
Once you lost it, you just lost it. Its like dropping a needle in the black hole and it should stay like this.
I can feel the feelings of those few players who lost this ribbon because of an X-Trap error few years back but for the sake of the message of this ribbon they must be agree that HSR should not be restored to the players who lost it because of hacking. There is no excuse of hacking. If you were a kid back then and used hack for fun and now you are a big boy then blame your stupid childhood instead of asking for this ribbon.
The idea of restoring HSR back to all of the players is just absurd. If there is a way to know about the players who lost their HSR because of X-trap then kindly restore their ribbons back otherwise just stop thinking about this idea. if you hacked then you must be banned permanently in the first place. Asking for restoration of HSR comes latter. -

I totally agree! I'm sorry for my friends that lost it with the "famous bug" some years ago..but once you lost it, you just lost it! -
