I don't think that's true; they clearly have a gameplan going into this. It's just important to have open dialogue to correct any problems on both sides of any matter.
I said this the other day too, but I am far more optimistic than I was several months ago for the scene in general. -

We've handed them out today for practice purposes. If one of your team hasn't received it please have your captain reply in their ticket (they know the one) and we'll get you set up asap. -

Hey guys.
So, what are you going to do about roster locks?
Exotic, Flipsid3, and Penta have all had roster changes in the last 2 days. Jaime from Instinct is unable to make their matches, and they are looking into bringing back Andrej as a replacement in the mean time
33% of your teams are different than they were 4 days ago heh.
I could comment on how ironic it is, but more to the point you guys should talk to the involved teams and open the rosters back up I guess. -

Rosters just locked yesterday, teams had the opportunity to change their roster.

I hope they don't take such a hardline approach, given that roughly 1/2 of their matches wouldn't be played then. -
To answer the questions above, rosters have been locked and if anyone can't make a match they need to have their captain inform us on the original ticket. While we appreciate any recommendations and will consider them, this isn't our first rodeo and I'm sure we'll be fine.

You should really consider at least streaming everyone's matches because you figure each person probably has a twitch and say they have 200 followers a-piece (which is fairly conservative) even if half those people tune in to watch their favorite player's match then it would boost the overall views for the tournament. -

Round 1:
Flipsid3 > Abyss
Rawness > Instinct
Penta > GoldX
STDx > Radiant
Playing Ducks = Harabas
Exotic > ThoseGuys

Instinct > Radiant

But until the official standings are updated I can't say these are 100% correct
Would've liked to have seen RunOnFlat allowed to fill in for Zzxq this week since he was willing to do so, but oh well. Looking forward to next weeks matches and streams -
