• I love soccer, so I used to watch this anime (inazuma eleven)
• And there is others I can't remember at the moment :P
• I love Animes. I've been watching them for more than 10 years, and I will mostly continue watching for much longer. xD
Those are some great Animes. I watched all the ones you mentioned so far, but I haven't started watching AOT2 yet. Gotta prepare for finals, so I'm taking a break.

What type of Animes are you looking for or what you like most ? Do you prefer short ones or long ones ? Complete or continuous ?
• Some of my personal favourites are:
Death Note - Edit: Didn't see that on your list, woops! :P
One punch man
No game no life
Kill la kill
Gurren Lagann
Mirai Nikki
Blue Exorcist
Hellsing Ultimate
Soul Eater
Is it wrong to try to pick up girls in a dungeon?
Monster musume **Borderline NSFW**
Sword art online
Highschool of the dead **Borderline NSFW**

AOT2 is intense. Better to binge watch than have to wait a whole week for new episodes like me.

As for Jessy, my favorite Anime I recommend: Himouto! Umaru-Chan. If you like zombies, then School-Live is good, too :3 Dark and creepy.

• Watch Elfen Lied (warning, lots of blood).
Sword Art Online was mentioned
Full Metal Alchemist was always good (I haven't seen Brotherhood though)
HOW HAS NOBODY SAID DRAGON BALL Z?!
Jigoku Shoujo was good but a bit repetitive
Does RWBY technically count as Anime even if its Western?

Yea, I do that a lot. xD
If I'm not busy, I take a break from an Anime and watch another complete one until a few eps are released.
If I'm busy, I take a break from all Anime before I become unable to stop myself when I have to.
P.S Himouto is on my list, I might watch it this summer.

Dragon Ball is a long Anime, I didn't want to post such long Animes. Some people be like, omg! I ain't watching 800 eps!! Although you could just watch a few episodes now and then.
I heard of Elfen Lied, but I haven't added it to my list yet xD I will now.
Jigoku is already on my list though :D
I think RWBY technically counts as an Anime because of the story. but its not Japanese!!! xD Can we actually call it an Anime if its not Japanese ?

Pizza, please.. xD
• I see I missed a lot. Dang I can't wait to watch some of the mentioned animes.
Have you guys seen the movies Princess Mononoke. Spirited away and Ponyo?
• Does RWBY technically count as Anime even if its Western?

Of course it does, and for sure my favorite ever (Biased- my GM name is after the antagonist)

a few of my faves:

Next to RWBY Akame Ga Kill is for sure my next favorite, but forewarning also very mature subjects and SAD oh my I cried T.T.
Blood+ is amazing but also very bloody I think the name speaks for itself.

If anyone likes suprenatural anime definitely watch Kyoukai No Rinne - it's a parody anime that pokes fun at all anime that are supernatural.
• From the ones I seen its gotta be full metal alchemist. Hands down the best anime I've watched. Others bore me too easily and I'm not an anime guy.
• bruh the best animes are are surely One Piece,Dragonball Z and Naruto(Shippuuden).well the classic ones i guess but especiallz One Piece cant be toped in termes of Story its a must wazch anime. And the best fights are in my opinion in Dragonball Z just due to the fact that they have the greatest Power Level of all Anime Characters
• There is a anime called claymore. Give it a try guys it's really good. Well I liked it a lot. Also watched Hataraku Maō-sama!
• Attack On Titants, but DBZ will always be my favorite anime.
• Angone else come home from school and watch Toonami on Cartoon Network? Those were the days 0.0

Sailor Moon, Digimon, Gundam Wing, Tenchi Muyo, Outlaw Star... And of course DBZ, where half an episode consisted of nothing but characters roaring in constipation =P
• RiceTurtle wrote: »

We never had toonami or cartoon network at my place, but these were so influential growing up :D

Lol if you were to ask my 6 year old me any cartoon on cartoon network I would tell you exactly what it is. My favorite was Ben 10. I still to this day want to cop one of those watches :p
• I'm glad that One Piece got mentioned already xD

Did you enjoy Sousei no Onmyouji? do you also read manga btw? because I recommend you to read Sousei no Onmyouji manga. It has a complete different story from the anime, and it is currently ongoing.

My fav genres right now are drama, fantasy, comedy, slife of life and adventure. I've a watched a lot of good shows, so Idk how to start. Althought I guess I'll first start with a small list of animes that I enjoyed a lot (and that I personally think are actually pretty good in it's own genre):
- Steins;Gate (do you like "time travel" animes? if yes, then this one is for you...for me this would be like a top tier anime that everyone must see...it's just incredible)
- Flying Witch (Slice of life + Fantasy, a really quiet and yet nice anime to watch)
- Gugure! Kokkuri-san (Comedy + Fantasy, you will get a good laugh with this one, it's a pretty good show)
- Noragami (Action + Comedy + Romance...one of the best i've watched so far, especially for the comedy part xD)
- Occultic;Nine (Suspense; from the same creators of Steins;Gate, another masterpiece work you should also check)
- Clannad (DRAMA, from my own selection, I warn you to get your heart prepared, and also your home, which could be flooded out by your own tears).

And I guess that would be enough for now. Mostly because a lot of other good animes were already recommended by the community. I hope you enjoy these ones as well.

Btw:
- Those movies you mentioned, I've already seen some of them. Miyazaki-sensei is just awesome for creating such a good and lovely stories. I also recommend some other good classics from him, like Howl's Moving Castle and My Neighbor Totoro.
- Hataraku Maou-sama was a good laugh, I also recommend it xD
- Claymore is on the list. Hopefully I can see it sometime soon.

So much Nostalgia T.T
We also had shows like Yu Yu Hakusho, Captain Tsubasa, Cardcaptor Sakura, Ranma 1 1/2, Inuyasha, Pokemon, Samurai X,etc. Those certainly were good old times. :)

Nope I don't read Mangas. I'm sure it's cool but I honestly enjoy watching.

I guess I missed a lot and I have to catch up on a lot lol
• Yea, I prefer watching too. Although I know Manga is better, I couldn't find in it as much fun as I found while watching. I've tried a few times.

I also prefer watching... But oh man, when One Piece is like 50 episodes in a row of fillers, it really makes you want to just read the Manga >.<
• i know my hubby used to watch Naruto and One piece i even bought him little figures from one piece this one time lol :)
i did watch a little here and there but wasn't such a huge fan of it

I find a lot of fillers quite fun. Although some of them are really boring. I don't recall that One Piece had so many fillers, although Luffy takes a lot of time in running and beating random followers xD
Also, Manga is far ahead.
In Naruto maybe it used to get so many fillers in a row.. Like 30+, not all of them were boring though. I hope Brouto won't be the same. I haven't started watching it yet though.
• My favourite animes are:
Mushishi
Gintama
Fate/Zero
Usagi Drop
Boku dake ga Inai Machi (Erased)
Shirobako
Mononoke Hime
Psycho-Pass
Shinsekai yori

I have seen hundreds of anime shows and MyAnimeList is a great place to keep track of them, I really recommend it. You can also follow a list of animes you want to watch in the future, so it is really handy.
I see I missed a lot. Dang I can't wait to watch some of the mentioned animes.
Have you guys seen the movies Princess Mononoke. Spirited away and Ponyo?

Princess Mononoke is pretty much my first anime and one of my all time favourites.
I liked Spirited Away, but definitely not my kind of anime and I haven't seen Ponyo.

Oh, well. =/
But no problem. Just take your time with everything else here (regarding anime). The variety of genres and its shows posted here are just incredible xD
As Sake said, having a MAL account will be helpful for both tracking and following series. Good luck on it. ~

Not all the mangas are better then their animated versions actually. Although I get your point there. For me, mangas are like reading books but with some (a lot actually) pictures added to them. I still don't read so many mangas though. But that universe is also good and I use to enjoy them as much as I enjoy watching anime. :P

- Sadly I couldn't reach Tenchi Muyo. And tbh I don't even remember it at Toonami's list. :0
Yu Yu Hakusho was Gold Childhood =w= (I remember listening their songs -OPs and EDs- not long ago. It was so refreshing listening to them again somehow).

- One Piece rarely have filler episodes xD And they were all fun to watch actually (IMO).
i know my hubby used to watch Naruto and One piece i even bought him little figures from one piece this one time lol :)

Nice, you even bought figures xD
I have to admit that One Piece gets interesting after watching like 40+ episodes. Then, after that, it usually catches you forever and use to become a good series to watch (up to the point of suffering every week for a new episode) -not my case eh- lol.

Boruto is at EP 5 right now iirc and is slowly advancing in the plot. And yeah, Naruto is a totally different case compared with One Piece, regarding fillers. :<
