Honestly, I couldn't even notice all the filler episodes since most of them were so good and enjoyable in my opinion. But anyway, I get your point, especially in the part you have to wait week by week. (it's happening recently in OP cause I started it in 2012 approx, when they were by 500 eps or so) >.<

There are a lot of possible answers for it xD
1. He's still waiting for the currently airing season to be finished before he could make his final veredict (adding or not adding the star to it).
2. He just prefer the manga over the anime.
3. He got spoiled while watching ( if this is the case, I feel you bro ;w; )
4. He just didn't like it very much as other animes he's already watched.
5. He just forgot to add the star to it (?)

Well, usually Cartoon is for kids, and Anime a lot of it is not for kids. So, considering Anime a Cartoon is hated by most of the ones I know because its like calling someone who is grown up already an immature.

I personally don't bother about what others think of my harmless hobbies. I always tell my friends to not be ashamed of something they like as long as its not bad or harmful.
I actually don't care about the category of the shows I watch.I only care about the story. If its a good story/show, I will difinately watch it.

I already know a lot of people that watch Anime that I could talk to when I want to talk about it. Tokyo Ghoul is actually my favorite short anime.
Top 5 for me,
1-Tokyo Ghoul
2-Hero Academy
3-Attack on Titan
4-One Punch Man
5-Twin Star Exorcist
As for long ones, I can't really decide.

Just be careful.. Season 3 is not out yet, and Manga is far ahead, so people who like Manga could ruin it for you.

By the way, they say that the story in Manga for Tokyo Ghoul is better than the one in the Anime. Also there are some fan-made videos on YouTube based on Manga. I already bumped in one of them by mistake, I didn't watch all of it but I got some info about what going to happen in Season 3 that I want it out of my head.. It feels less fun when you already know what's going to happen.

However, I liked the fan-made videos for fights between. Saitama(One Punch Man) and Goku(Dragon Ball). Its really funny.

all the characters are likable, humor in the series is usually funny and enjoyable and the fights are so well done and get me extremely hyped for almost all of them.
I love this anime so much so i watched the +700 episodes from the beginning 4 times and the manga is currently at a really really exciting battle vs BIG MOM

I didnt watch alot i only watched ATTACK ON TITANS s1 and 2 now TOKYO GHOUL wich i dint understand and DEATH NOTE wich i awesome but it starts to be boring after the ep 25 or 24 i think
