Feedback on Reports
Listen, it seems like lately we've been getting some pretty nice patches, the GMs communicate more with us, we always see Kanadian taking care of the Forum, Effects on the Bug Thread and Grumpy is always on the Suggestion Section. But I am still disappointed in something man...
I know that it is really boring having to see replays over and over again of people who are not smart enough to play the game legit. I waste a lot my time playing the whole match so that I can have a lot of evidence of the player hacking, then have to re-watch the replay so that I can see his POV (when I think they're using wall hack), jot down the correct time when it shows that it's obvious that they're hacking (cannot alt + tab while watching replays), then finish by writing the report. It takes 10-30 minutes to report someone, counting playing the match and re-watching the replay, and then we see the same player playing after a week/month/year. It's really disappointing, believe me. I know that you guys ban hackers, but sometimes it takes TOO long, or sometimes you guys dont even ban the hacker at all. I don't see THAT many hackers, it's like 1 a week or 1-2 a month, so I don't see any excuses for the hackers not to get banned, I don't think you guys get more than 100 reports a day, and if you do I'm sure many of them are from the same hacker, so you can ignore the rest of them if you find enough evidence of them hacking. Everytime I see a hacker, I report, I know that it might be a waste of time, but I still do it because I'm not going to ignore a hacker and come to the forums complain about them.
If this thread seems like I am bashing the GMs to you, I'm sorry, but I am not. It's just that it's frustrating having to report hackers and then play with them for a whole month or more. Like I said before, I think there is more communication between the GMs and Players, we even got a thread for us to share the type of events we like the most so that later we can have better events.

I would like to see reports reviewed and answered if action is taken or not, some reports are still on the list for over 5 months. I am not sure if they are still on the list because they have changed their IGN and GM can't find them any more or that player has already been reported by other players and action has been taken and reviewed for them. Leaving my report still open. This is why people complain as many reports remain open and as far as some goes maybe they have been banned but case reports stays open and no review given. GM are trying to crack down on hackers but I think it's the report system that needs to change "Organize Reports and close reports if that player has been banned from other reports"
So change needs to happen to how reports are viewed, as I mentioned in this post.CamelSoldier wrote: »This is bad idea alone, as we know it takes GM a long time to go through the reports and In Game Report System will double or triple the time it takes to review reports as many report based on one random kill or kills that cannot be explained. What we need is a system that allocates points on each report. The higher the point is the higher report is pushed up the list to get viewed. So those silly reports that are only reported once or twice will stay bottom list and well known hackers that has been reported by many players would be pushed to the top list. Examples below of such a system.
* Red zone - reports in this zone needs to be viewed as priority
*Green zone - reports that has few players who reported same player few times.
*Yellow zone - low reports of that player stays none priority.
This system will organise based on how many times that player is reported in that day or week. Players that have been reported less are left low priority and major hackers that have been reported by many players in that week will be placed in Red zones priority to review them. This would of worked great for ranked season when many players reported same hacker over 10 times same day.
System that adds points based on how many times this player been reported in that week will be placed priority zone to review. Unlikely legit player to be reported over 10 times same day etc even so at least highest reported players are viewed first legit or not. Will be faster than the old system as it doesn't distinguish who is priority or not at he moment.
Plus I would like to see Ban list come back so we can check every week if that player we have reported has been banned regardless if our report has been viewed or not. Reason for this is if another player reported him and action was taken before the GM looks at our reports we can check for his name on that list. #Name&ShameHackers! -
Good suggestions by camelsoldier. But yeah I still see the same people who hacked in ranked season 2 still playing and winning guns from events. Its not possible for me to get the rank based on my skill because of them. I just go for gold 1 and then quit because its not worth playing ranked.

You are right there are some ruls about forumer post so we got pay attention .
I suggest TRUMP president of Crossfire meybe he will build wall against hak -

I reported someone a while back who was walling in a ghost mode game and also had an aim bot. Guess who's still no banned? That guy.
I mean how much more obvious can you be getting 8 headshots as everyone comes out of the base not to mention most of us were invisible. Kind of a side note but the GM that watches the report videos should know that if someone is spraying an MG in your ear you CANNOT pinpoint. Also there is a small range were you can even hear breath. -
This is why I never report anymore. They never get banned and the only players I report are the obvious ones, meaning they aimbot, wall etc..
This is why people play whit hak whit out risk to be banned becouse if all of us stop report them ..we will lose this war and not the battle ..but we got keep trying report and report thousand times till GM will ban them all...we dont need to lose our hopes be strong all. -

PS: [GM]Kanadian i know that you see it xD so please review my last ticket. -
I sent them again....if we all stop in the end we will not even be able to play at all....:(

I already thought in spamming them with report, but the only thing that's going to do is get me banned... -
OP: I completely agree and about a year ago i suggested my CFM (Crossfire Monitor) Suggestion.
ill leave a link to my post again for anyone who wants to check it out and see if it can be improved.

Do it. Report. Even if you think they won't do anything. You miss 100% of shots you don't take.
In other words, if you report them there is at least a chance they'll get banned, whereas if no one reports them, there is 0% chance. -
I still fill some hack reports, just because then I can come here and complain about hackers not getting banned even though I did my part by reporting them and its Z8 staff's fault that this guys are still ruining the game.
I don't really know what happened to that part of Z8 staff who's supposed to manage the hack reports, they used to close reports dealt with, they tagged the reports opened as 'Open' at least. Now they don't even do that to any of my reports they just leave them blank as if to be ignored.
That system camel proposed could be a nice improvement to the hacking report system, but it could be easily abused (everyone would report everything as 'Red') so if I could suggest something I would say that they make reporting something more meaningful to players involving some kind of credibility gauge, like if you tag an report with insufficient proof of hack as 'Red' then you get less credibility for not using the system properly. And if you tag a blatant hacking report as 'Red', you'll get more credibility for being right and obtain priority over other reporters who don't really understand how the system works.
But that is just a suggestion of mine. -
Geez, it's been almost a year now.
You should really get your "stuff" together. I really don't want 'something' happening to the game, as I still love it but certain elements of it make it *insert a bad word here as we are all 12 and not used to bad words*.
Danny, pm me if you're allive and here, pls -

And still there are forumers who will say better spend your time reporting than complaining here lmao.
Well, in the end both are a waste of time.
