So CrossFire is the 3rd most profitable Free-To-Play game of 2016
According to Superdata Research, Tencent/Smilegate earned more than $1.1 billion, only with CrossFire. And here we are, expecting more free content and/or some recognition from the developpers.
GG CrossFire, this means the game isn't going to die yet. Until CrossFire 2 is released, at least. What do you think about this ?

Yeah i know that since a long time and thats just due to the fact that crossfire is a game were all(i rly mean All) coll weapons cost zp and cf is rly smart in bringing us to buy their stuff.the sad thing about it is that they still dont give us some superb events even tho they made 1,1 billion dollars

Of course their giving us some events now and then with a bitbof free zp but 5% off from 10k zp is 500 zp and thats alot of free zp in your opinion.Well i do understand what u mean the shop for example is gr8 or the 40 ribbons prize dont forget about the fact i love this game. But out of 1,1 billion they could probably make some cooler events

Where does all that money go to? Why do we have to experience all these servers crashes and bugs in such a huge game? Why wouldn't we get a better flawless anti-cheat software or so...?
And srsly, why can't Danah (and everyone else with a similar storage ofc) have a larger storage and why are they forced to give their guns/items away? That's totally unfair and should never happen! Their least rights is to keep what they paid for!! -
I'm wonder at what place CF would be without Germany
By the way ,for every source you find that CF is at top 3 I can find you one thousand sources that don't rate this game even at top 100
Like seriously Counter-strike/World of tanks/Call of duty are famous games all over the world, and who heard about CF?Egyptians? -
A couple of observations:
- The data only covers the first 11 months of 2016. Total 2016 revenue is most likely a good amount higher, considering December is a very profitable month for most businesses.
- I expect the revenue shown on the right represents worldwide revenue. If we assume the spread by region is a good representation of revenue by region for Crossfire, then 67.2% ($12.8 / $18.6) of the $1.1 billion is attributable CF Asia regions and the remaining 32.7% to the other CF versions. Can't say how much of the 32.7% is from CF NA, but I assume CF NA makes up a huge chunk of that 32.7% (anyone knowledgeable about other Cf regions want to weigh in?). Regardless, $3.6 million (32.7% * $1.1 billion) is no small number, so I can echo the sentiments that CF NA isn't going anywhere.
Anyone know if the figures are gross or net revenue? Anyway, interesting data, thanks for sharing ! -

The data indeed covers Jan. to Nov., but 1 billion is huge nonetheless. Not to mention CF is owned by Tencent Games (who also has LOL), that's Bi-Winning. I assume it's gross revenue, as it is rounded to 1.1.It is not only our version, it's all the versions together.
That's right. Asian versions are a big percentage.
I don't understand other people complaining about NA/UK, they're giving away alot of free ZP content. "A bit too much" I thought at the beginning, then I remembered I would have loved getting free ZP guns to try, back in 2009, when I started playing. -

you are right. I don't see CF in top 50 FPS 2016 games. you wants to tell me that this game at top 3? are you kidding?
this source isn't true at all. -

I'd like to know which data you're using. If you don't see it in the top FPS in general, you might not be looking at the F2P games. If you're looking at a websites list of 'Our top games for 2016!!!' Then this is an opinion rather than monetary fact. Always be sure of your sources before going into an argument. That being said, even I wasn't aware that the overall CF was doing this good, and its good to hear that we are -
