I have to admit, I agree (this is something the GM's should re-consider for those hard workers.

that if we consider some ( players ) didn't ( moved ) from country to country by a ( bug ) ofc ;D
  • It may look good on paper
    So Mexico's score would be (50 kills x 5 players) / 5 team members = 50
    And Britains score would be (50 kills x 10 players) / 10 team members = 50

in a game looks like this
    So Mexico's score would be (50 kills x 4 players) / 5 team members = 40
And Britains score would be (50 kills x 7 players) / 10 team members = 35 ( because these three players were which are interested in event than were randomly chosen country and they certainly will not play any mode for event)

and why we do not like the event will not write because it took up too much of spaces
  • 1. How is it the worst event so far? Please provide examples of why you think so?
    2. Are you aware of how averages work? Lets say each team member scores 50 kills for an event. Lets say Mexico has 5 players, and Britain has 10.

    So Mexico's score would be (50 kills x 5 players) / 5 team members = 50
    And Britains score would be (50 kills x 10 players) / 10 team members = 50

So I don't see why you believe a smaller number of players will be an advantage.

    3. Please see number 2.
it's absolutely still depend on "quantity" but you gave the advantage for lowest quantity of players.
when i have chosen my team never thought that these teams (Mexico, Russia and Vietnam) would never make it.
at least you should have told us about what's the minimum for a team to be accepted.
  • So I don't see why you believe a smaller number of players will be an advantage.

You dont see why? Okay, give me my own country and I will win all the events besides zp & gp crates one on my own.
Because alot of inactive players joined 1 country and lets say another clan of 50 really active people decided to join a country they knew not alot of people will join. So they basically carried that country.
You KNOW you are wrong, and are just stubborn, so there is no point in arguing.
I did the same amount of kills in hmx as 3 people from other countries behind me and usa is not even in top 5. If I was in a country with 50 inactive players, I would win it 1st place with the same score.

    * Z8 fail again *

You choose 15 country which has bigger number of players so you should make this event with total scores NOT average scores!

average scores make this event unfair...

I have to agree with [GMKanadian here. It's not the GMs or SmileGate fault that your country has players who are not active. These players chose those countries therefore, they should be the ones to have the blame. I personally think this event would of went better if it was better organised and presented. Of course there will be bugs when you launch a page live and it is common to find things not going to plan as everyone expects them. The same format applies to the game content, of course the GMs test the content however, they can't expect the content to be bug free after released live. It simply doesn't work like that.

But your missing the point, this event is about team work.

yay! you should be happy because your country doesn't have high number of players so your team will get all medals!

They already mentioned that all countries had to meet a specific minimum amount of players in order for that country to qualify. It's not my fault that your country has inactive players. Blame them since they are the ones who are letting your country down.
  • Well, yes, essentially teams who have members that aren't actively participating will not do well. This is intended. If you want to win, you should be actively participating.

While I agree with you on this completely...there's a problem when you have a team of some unknown number and you don't even have a list of fellow team members (at least not that I could see) and therefor can't even contact them ingame or otherwise to organize and plan for which events you're going to hit. The larger the team the harder it is in terms of organizing and the larger the team the great the odds of inactive players being part of that team and the more inactive members on one team the harder the active players have to do double, triple, quadruple overtime or more just to keep up with a smaller team which has fewer inactives.
Top it off, if you go around asking people if they're in 'X' team you get kicked out of matches because then people know what team you're on and they don't want you to score points.

Even HARDER to organize when specific events within the games aren't revealed until the day of or just a few hours before they are set to start and then only run for 1 or 2 days. So can't even plan on specific events within the Games. (which is a problem with WAY TOO many of the events in the last 6 months IMO.) And events that one might be really good at and interested in doing they can't participate because it's over before they can find the time to get to them...because they couldn't plan ahead. If you're organizing a fund drive you start advertising about your drive WEEKS before hand with details not the day before. That way people are much more likely to show up.

I mean quite honestly...I really feel that everything that SHOULD have been implemented from lessons on past events...went out and it was all just "ahh heck let's just wing it!" after the general idea was formed for the event.

I'll also say that I highly agree with not counting Password protected rooms in future events especially ones that are competitive in nature. If you legit want to participate you'll follow the rules and be willing to face the community and GMs openly and not a group of alts you use as cows that you farm day in and day out.

I could probably drudge up other issues and suggestions of how it could be set up better in the future but I don't have that kind of time tonight.
  • Page says events are over but the events still go on. Why is that?

Let's just say they have a lot they can learn from this event for future events. .
This basically sums up every event. Every event people give z8 one more chance. but then they end up screwing it up again.

The deadline for the challenges; Soccer and Bot Hunting have been changed to 23/08/2016 00:00 EST (midnight).

    That was 20 hours ago.

The first few events, as soon as the day started, the event was over. Example, if it said an event ended on the 8th, it ended at 00:00, not 23:59.
  • We will consider these points when planning future events. However, this one more or less had to be a competition. Its the CrossFire Games. As in sports games. Where a team has to win, and teams have to lose.

That being said, as mentioned, the score for completed events will not change. While they may update on the tracker due to bugs, we are aware of who won what, and the proper winners will get their rewards properly.

Now you will consider about it but when i said it many times in the past i get infractions, ok...

I don't know where you got your timing from but the current time in EST is 4:20AM therefore, those challenges have finished 4 hours and 20 minutes ago.

    It's changed now.

When Golden-Light and I were doing the ZM event, he got off a bit before me and like 30 mins after, I checked the event page. That was August 14th, (the day the event ended) and it was like 3am, and it said the event was over. So yeah, there are some events that ended right as the day started.
  • So.... Who said Great Britain got it easy?

dude.. that challenge depends on total crates not averages at all -_-
Can you just take a look on "escape" challenge ?

People get infractions based on breaking rules, such as censor bypassing, insulting, etc. People do not get infractions for politely and accurately stating their opinions and reasons for said opinions.

First challenge count on total score not average.
This event will be good But if was count on total score not average so now it unfair because count on average that's mean small teams GB, Vietnam, China and Germany will win all medals and RIP for Egypt, Turkey and USA.

If it was total, then Egypt and Turkey will probably win every challenge so how is that fair for the smaller teams? If your team was winning, you wouldn't be complaining right now. But it looks like Egypt are going to get Gold medal for the crate spinning.

In my opinion, the only reason why most players are complaining is because their country (team) isn't winning.

Maybe because its almost not possible for us to win. I am not gonna spend 20 hours playing cf just to get my team average up by 0.1 point. They shouldnt've come up with an event like this in the first place. Almost everyone who I talked to from my team said that they are quitting and won't bother with this event anymore.
Event page updated and my team average score in escape got up by 0.1 point. Fair and balanced z8.

The way I see it, is that if anyone gets then blame, it should be the inactive players. They are the ones who are not contributing and some don't even bother playing since they believe that their team will "carry" them.

Even before ore the event started, most players went to other countries thinking that they will win and in the end, they even haven't got a gold medal.
  • Y0ungAngie wrote: »
Most egys just play snd wandering around for guns lol. Pretty sure they don't check the events. Except the few ones that do.

I mean, look at scores and you will see almost always the same players from Egypt. But how many braindead ahmeds have you encountered ingame? (I say braindead cause they have no idea how to play or what they're doing, like zombies from zm)
Lmao or in other words, young not braindead lel
But this event is an overall mess.

In that case this event should've been made differently. For example every team gets the same amount of players, lets say 100. If you didnt pick your country in time because the team is full, you have to pick another one. Simple as that, everyone has the chance to win gold. Unlike in our event.

That's a neat idea however, the only downside to that is that some teams will never reach the amount of players needed. Since some players won't like playing for other countries and competition against their own country.

    totally mess
    unknown average score criteria
    unknown gaming method
    random event starting without introduction
    bugged medals with fixing issues
remove farmers and keep some of them till sending ticket

    in last day
all will get golden medal and ribbon to not upset any country
  • midotizo wrote: »

They were nice enough to give a free Perm AK Noble Beast. Hopefully, they're nice enough to give the rewards for everyone who participated.
  • The best solution is that if the player does not pass a certain limit for the event that it does not count as playing for the country.
Those who did not actively participate in the event will not get her prize

Now it count on average so yes UK and Mexico will win every challenges. It's fair now?

If this event was fair and count on total score your team was lost and you come here and complaining this event

z8games don't smart enough to do that
