They don't even try to fix their mistakes... and here is the proof
"Update:
We have tweaked the event trackers in order to blablablablablabla, and completed events scores will not change. Other than that, the event rules and ribbon rules did not and will not change."
Congratz to players who chosed Mexico and GBR, ez win -
I think the event tracker work just fine. I like the event, I think it was poorly lay out.
This is just my speculation. I think there was an equalizer put in place to balance between country with a lot of people to country with lesser amount of people.
Therefore the bigger team needs to put in 3x to 5x as much work just to equal one from the smaller team. A better rule set would have been, who ever gets gold for their country gets gold for everyone that sign up with that country. -

Now it works fine but it was broken 2 or 3 times. -
I don't know why they haven't learned from the past few events.
Back in the day, the events weren't a competition(or at least the ones I remember). it's just you have to reach a certain number of kills collectively or individually and you'll get the reward. This way, even if there were farmers, people couldn't care less as long as they got their own reward.
When they started turning it into a competition(those top 10 events and now this), it had all the makings of a disaster, given the GMs' lack of experience, high number of farmers who play the game, and the QQers. If there are farmers, the GMs cant be 100% certain whether theyre farming.
Even if the winners aren't farmers, the others who didn't win will still accuse them of farming and flame forums just given the nature of the game and past events. -

We will consider these points when planning future events. However, this one more or less had to be a competition. Its the CrossFire Games. As in sports games. Where a team has to win, and teams have to lose.
That being said, as mentioned, the score for completed events will not change. While they may update on the tracker due to bugs, we are aware of who won what, and the proper winners will get their rewards properly. -
This is my opinion, if you do not think anything can change immediately then share the prize because it is not fair to the others
1.This is the worst event so far
2.This can not be fair event for all participants because of the state that have a smaller number of players will have had a better average. GG for Mexico Britain
3.If you did not mean to do that every state has the same number of participants, then you're not even supposed to be put average
That you made as the competitors taking part in the Olympic Games under the doping -

1. How is it the worst event so far? Please provide examples of why you think so?
2. Are you aware of how averages work? Lets say each team member scores 50 kills for an event. Lets say Mexico has 5 players, and Britain has 10.
So Mexico's score would be (50 kills x 5 players) / 5 team members = 50
And Britains score would be (50 kills x 10 players) / 10 team members = 50
So I don't see why you believe a smaller number of players will be an advantage.
3. Please see number 2. -

I think what he means by smaller number bigger advantage is, there are many people who chose a country and didn't participate in the event at all.
So let's say Egypt has 1000 players but only about 250 of them are actively participating, their average will still not be very fair but of the remaining people who randomly chose a country without the intention of actually participating.
Then there might be a certain group of people from a smaller country who all planned on doing the event together and actively complete each one. Their average will be higher because they're all doing the events and they don't have any outliers that hinder their average. So even if Egypt tries really hard, they're gonna have to make up for the people who barely do anything. -

But why?? If you want to "punish" players who are not participating in an event, "punish" only them. I don't see the need for everyone in that team to suffer -

I have to agree with [GMKanadian here. It's not the GMs or SmileGate fault that your country has players who are not active. These players chose those countries therefore, they should be the ones to have the blame. I personally think this event would of went better if it was better organised and presented. Of course there will be bugs when you launch a page live and it is common to find things not going to plan as everyone expects them. The same format applies to the game content, of course the GMs test the content however, they can't expect the content to be bug free after released live. It simply doesn't work like that.lostinforest wrote: »But why?? If you want to "punish" players who are not participating in an event, "punish" only them. But your missing the point, this event is about team work. -

Move me and -strex.? on a team with 30-50 inactive players and let's see who get the 1st country place on every single challenge except the ones where you have to spend money.
A single player can carry a team like Mexico to first 3 top places with no stress, If you add one more then no one can beat team Mexico. There are obvious examples, go check the crossfire games page.
I understand that you are not supposed to do that and win alone. But this is how it is. My team have ~165 players where almost 7 of them play for real and the rest are inactive or play 1 game and then play something else/quit. So I hope you understand why I believe "a smaller number of players will be an advantage." -

No point on being active if wath the player does dosnt count because of some bug/mistake. -
My one suggestion for a similar future event is to not count games played in password protected rooms. I noticed people aren't complaining about the top 10 players of the Bot event, and I think one of the reasons is because you can't make bot rooms private. I've seen some of the top 10 play and can vouch that they aren't farming, glitching, hacking, etc.
Some of the previous events that have ended were so sketch because people play in passworded rooms. -
But you're missing the point, this event is about team work.
I agree that it's somewhat based on team work. But if someone signed up for a team and doesn't even bother playing matches which he should to contribute to his team, why would his score count into his team's average?
I don't really know what do you think about it, but it's a nonsense to me. o.o -
Here's what I believe ....
Let's say that both Mexico and United States have 500 players contributing for an event. While Mexico have let's say... 200 inactive players that are doing nothing, while USA have 5,000. This is totally fair, right? The ones that picked Mexico can just get 5 kills each and be like "gg we won m8" while others have to work their asses off day and night for 1% is the scoreboard.
If you want to make this a fair competition, here's what I suggest;
1. Remove all the inactive people / non-contributioners from their country's total score.
2. Change it from average to total.
^for the remaining events
Now, this should be fair, right? (and continue removing farmers of course) -

Most egys just play snd wandering around for guns lol. Pretty sure they don't check the events. Except the few ones that do.
I mean, look at scores and you will see almost always the same players from Egypt. But how many braindead ahmeds have you encountered ingame? (I say braindead cause they have no idea how to play or what they're doing, like zombies from zm) -

I have to admit, I agree (this is something the GM's should re-consider for those hard workers).
PS: I must acknowledge, I let my chosen nation down (USA), I am very inactive and I apologise to those who try to keep up in top positions without me. If there was a 'Exit' button for this event, i'd press it (just so averages wouldn't affect you guys, from my side). I have truly lost my 'mojo' for this game, I just don't come on as much (with all these constant problems in-game, it's less appealing to play as I once did).
