Did you create it WITH your friend, or did just your friend create it? You have to have at least some part in creating it for it to be eligible.

Submit it via ticket, only the person who submits it wins if multiple people work on it, and if you have any copyrighted stuff in it and it gets taken down before or during judging, its disqualified.

Could the option after you play a game that has "save" is that a recording of the game you were just at? Is it a file that can easily be transferred into your movie?

You can play that file in game by going to Storage > Replays. You can record and edit it using external apps.
