I have a few good ideas however I'm not good with editing videos, also are we allowed to participate 2 and 2 or can it only be one person teams?

You can work with someone else, but only the player who submits the video will get a reward. To answer the question on time, there is a maximum of 10 minutes. To answer people's question about what software to edit with, that is entirely up to you.

I really wanted to take part in this contest but sadly I'm going on vacation through all of July. And for my ideas to work, I needed at least 3 weeks to create, design and implant it to a video.

I have 0 knowledge about editing I'm not gonna win either way so I just wanted this event to be something I can make videos for fun :P thanks though I'll get started soon -

Nvm I think you misunderstood :P he already said the max. length is 10 minutes in a reply to someone. I was just suggesting to put that in the main post as well so that everyone can see more easily. -
