ZP Storm - June 1 to June 30
Attention Mercenaries,
Who doesn't like some free ZP, specially when the only thing you have to do is play?
In the entire month of June, we are giving out a free 10,000 ZP every hour. Yes you read it correctly, every hour!!!
All what you have to do is simply play the game. Every hour a random player will be selected from the users who were playing during that hour and he/she will be awarded the ZP the next day.
The more you play, the more chances you have to get selected!
So go ahead, have fun, and earn some free ZP.
*You have to play and finish games to be included in the random draw. Idling in the room/lobby/channel will not count.

A shame you would have to play 10 hours a day to even have a small chance of winning. But at least its not one of those "spend 100 bucks and get 1 crate" event.

Well actually, playing for 10 hours compared to 1 hour doesnt really do anything to increase your odds of winning.
Let's say that there's roughly 1000 people playing CF at any given time (thats probably a low estimate).
After playing for during 1 hour, your chance of winning is 0.1%, so 1/10 of one percent.
Now, lets say you play continuously for 10 hours, so you have 10 chances. I assume winners cant be picked twice, but I also assume that once someone wins, they get off and someone else takes there spot amongst the 1000.
Your chance of winning ZP at the 10th hour is still 0.1%. Even if you try to factor in the diminishing number of eligible players by having the winners counted, your chance of winning would only increase to 0.101%. That's a tiny, tiny increase.
So for your sake, and everyone elses, just play when you want, and don't think that by staying on longer you'll have a better chance

Well it would be a higher chance of winning because he'd have more chances to even have his name in the hat to be picked. ie if you log out then obviously you wouldn't have a chance to win so that'd be 0% as compared to that small percentage that you listed. -

So the more hours you play the more chance of winning, or am I just stupid? -
OMG this is such a great EVENT but we will be DOOMED, lol............ If random players make new accounts and play/finish 1 game each hour they will win increase the odds easy.. To avoid that, there should be 1 Rule: Only accounts created 12+ months ago, can qualify.
Anyway, great to see Z8 with innovations
