To all UK players, the tournaments/leagues are meant for NA in my opinion. The tournaments/leagues only allow UK scene to come in because they probably feel bad. Lets be real here, did ESL ever have a UK match or have a match where one half is in NA and the other in UK? Be great for what you have. These are NA admins not UK admins and the admins can't control the prize pool issue with the GMs. If you guys are complaining and whining so much so ask a UK admin to host the UK scene and stop complaining on what is for the NA. Simple, find a new game to play if you don't like what they are doing. It's their tournament, they should at least get the choice of how to run it (servers and ect.), but not something stupid of course. This is what I don't understand, UK players comes into NA scene complaining about UK not having a fair chance while it's NA'S TOURNAMENT. For example, SPL was only for NA, but then UK players came in. Let me know what you guys think about this. This was just a quick write with no edits xD.

Tournys arent my thing just thought to post this: Its not like UK players want/desire/wished to come into the NA scene,theyre forced into this version since they cant play on EU. xD -

You are right about UK players forced into playing NA, but why can't there be a player in UK that makes his own tournaments/leagues like WCGS and EGL. -

I made BGL and held 13+ cups, I was the one who found ACP anti-cheat in the first place which EGL ended up using (as far as I remember) and got in contact with MODS and GMS who sponsored us with crates for prizes. I'm not claiming that BGL was perfect but it did bring back teams and gave them a reason to play which many people thanked me for. Z8games stopped sponsoring BGL and EGL in January and that's when I decided to stop hosting (also because of a toxic, immature and unappreciative community and lies spread about me - had no motivation) But there's no need for a UK player to do that at this point because just like NA we have EGL and WCGS. Also, I don't believe in hosting competition myself as I feel that it's Z8games responsibility and I'm not doing it for them. So we'll just have to wait and see what they do. Also Spank, WCGS say they do this for the whole community and ask us for our thoughts and concerns, so if UK players think something is unfair then we'll share our thoughts, but at the end of the day they make the decisions. -

As you have said z8games has stop sponsoring the tournaments/leagues which shows that they are lacking responsibility but it comes to the scene to do something, We have no control of z8games decisions and actions. If I can remember, probably wrong, but didn't BGL only bring back UK teams since BGL was for UK? I am pretty sure that didn't really change the difference in NA. Also for you not hosting BGL because there is EGL UK and for WCGS BETA which included the UK scene is not our problem and the restrictions shouldn't be complained about since there is at least EGL UK which you could win cause it is in the UK and you have a better advantage. Plus this tournament is bringing hosted by NA players and the money are basically coming out of his own pocket. If the tournament is unfair then don't play and just wait for the next one and "ask the admins if they can make it fair like state your opinions", instead of just complaining about everything. -

Finally someone who is actually smart, plz gm's terminate the whole uk scene. Get rid of egl uk since they aren't greatful for what they have and make two egl na's during saturday and sunday. British why don't you make your own tournament and actually get sponsors and hold lans and stuff just like c4,mak and kyle are doing. Find a group of 2-3 people and organize it, im sure 2q, and danty would be down to help out. -

I mean they probably don't give a f*** anymore since Kyle aka ZZXQ has a huge plan for the community. -
its upto c4 how they want to do this but i see both sides of arguements he asked for ideas and ppl are giving them so instead of arguing its na admins or whatever how about coming up with a logical plan for the community and help wcgs grow to be a good league

up until now the NA competitive scene has always had more competition, when I made bgl, the NA scene already had esl, esg etc. People never liked that I played in the tournament i made for the community as well so if I was to take your advice people would accuse me of being bias and be favourable of my team. I get that you don't care but most of what you're saying makes little sense -
At the end of the day everyone gets to play with there teams like EGL doesn't have prizes anymore yet people still play and enjoy, but now that money is involved people are becoming toxic, just enjoy the game and the expeince to be able to play in something that's bettering this toxic and dead community, it's just a game so live it up. No need to get upset because UK doesn't get as much as money, there really isn't. Just be glad to be apart of something bigger and better for everyone.

UK players will have an equal opportunity to play in the online events. Obviously in the beginning in terms of LANs we probably won't be able to pay for UK teams travel expenses for a LAN finals without Smilegate support or an outside larger sponsor coming on board (both things we are working hard to acquire so that we can fly out all teams for pro finals) however everyone needs to understand creating the best league to date isn't as simple as money dumping out of thin air. We need to create sustainable methods for the league so its not just a 1 time huge financial loss for us to host, so seasons can continue to happen. Right now we are in the final stages of preparing the league, but want to assure that we will do what is reasonably able to be done to provide everyone both in NA and UK a great event structure that can last.
