Also, I'd like to know why Z8games did this. This is not funny. Smashing a cake on someone's face is funny. Stealing someone's snack is funny. Hiding with a mask and scare someone to death is funny. This because you can ASSIST to their REACTION, you can see their faces and have a laugh.
An announcement made by GAME MODERATORS which makes you DESTROY YEARS of work to get something you wouldn't ever be allowed to get (speaking as a Free to Play player), if not that single day, IS NOT funny, it's sad. This is not a prank, this means being evil.
You know, if they said that they were selling it for 5000 ZP I wouldn't have minded: I would have done some surveys, got my 5000 ZP and when I would have discovered that I couldn't have bought it I would have just ended with a laugh and 5000 free ZP to spend and they would have got money from the surveys. This was a fair April Fool, that couldn't really have damaged anyone.
My story about this?
I've been playing since 2009 and there were 2 things I've ever desired: a permanent silenced weapon (which I got, M4A1 Custom Crystal, thanks Z8) and a permanent melee weapon. You couldn't even imagine my reaction when I've seen the announcement. I was EXTREMELY happy at first, then I saw the price... I was 50.000 GP off and I was in that state in which you don't know if you're laughing or crying, because I sent 64.000 GP on KSG crates yesterday (and I didn't even win it![:\](https://forum.z8games.com/resources/emoji/confused.png ":\")
). But then the fact that you can resell wepons came to my mind and I decided to do something I wouldn't have thought I would have ever done: I sold FOUR weapons and ALL my grenades... Then I understood this was just an April Fool.
I'm really, really disappointed.To be honest, it is obvious that is a joke. There many hints both in the thread and visual page which points that this is not true;- 250k GP.
- 1 day sale.
- 8 different error messages pop-up if you click 'Buy Now'.
- Says the actual pre-sale starts tomorrow.
- Posted on 1st April (April Fools Day).
- 16.67% discount (When have they ever done this? Previous numbers have always been a whole number).
These are some hints. However, the actual pre-sale does start tomorrow in which you can buy it for ZP.

1- 250.000 GP are not just a bunch of GP, at least not for a good 1/3 of the CF community, not even for a VIP weapon.
2- Why couldn't it have been a one day promotion?
3- What's the deal with 8 error messages when you often have technical issues with the game and the website?
4- It doesn't state that the ACTUAL PRE-SALE starts tomorrow. It states that the GP pre-sale is today, and today only, while ZP pre-sale starts April the 2nd and ends April the 8th.
5- Ok, it's April Fools day, but it's not a reason to do such a thing.
6- You know, if something is priced 300.000 and it's sold for 250.000 its discount is 16.666666666666666... and selling something for 250.000 instead of 300.000 (not, to say, 287304 instead of 749372, discount X?.π?! %) isn't that strange to me. -
Well played. Good thing I checked the forums before selling 100k of weapons (I had about 150k already) to try and get this. :P
It wasn't totally obvious, but that GP part was just getting to me. Seemed too good to be true....hah.
Nice weapon, though. Just don't make people have to buy others VIPs to get it. I'll probably get if it's standalone 75k ZP or thereabouts in presale. -
Nice, now that the damge is done they added a trollface at the end of the messages.
Couldn't have done it before and MAYBE avoiding hundreds of people to throw their storages away.

LOL wow man that is funny z8 convinced you about the shovel and you sold your gp items so you would have enough lol,, try writing a ticket and see if you can get re-compensated.. side note to z8games staff this kind of teasing is childish and a disappointing to find out its all a joke.
MANY OF US WHO DONT SPEND MONEY IN THIS GAME ARE DESPERATE FOR MELEE's THERE IS NO REAL WAY TO OBATAIN A PERM MELEE FROM JUST PLAYING THE GAME (the broken kurki doesn't count that thing is a pos) ADD A MELEE TO COUPONS or the GP BLACK market. Z8GAMES STOP Treating your players like this. and recompensate this guy i quoted... inb4 this message is ignored like all the others. -
