Remember how time pass until CF was work great under w8, w8.1 ... there was a lots of bugs .. and take some time until xtrap was updated to run under w8 ...
Same thing will happend with W10 - even after will be fixed will take some time until all bugs will be fixed.
MY ADVICE fo W10 fans-CF players: install Win7 on first HDD partition, then go install W10 on a secondary HDD partition (don't upgrade you current windows), during that custom install Win10 will auto detect W7 and made a dual boot for your PC ... So you can start your PC under W7 and play CF then restart and go under W10 and do whatever you wanna do
this would had been more helped if you said something like way earlier... -
Guys, CrossFire officially supports Windows 10. It should work for everyone, there might be a few bugs and stuff but it should be working.
X-Trap just updated.
yup,GM Celestine confirmed this on stream and she said they will update xtrap if they found any new bugs -

Have you tried running the compatibility troubleshooter in windows 10? Open Z8 games folder, open crossfire folder, right click on crossfire then click on "Troubleshoot Compatibility". The troubleshooter will then detect issues. Next click on "Troubleshoot Program". Then check the first box "The program worked in earlier versions of windows but won't install or run now". Click "Next". On the next screen, click on which ever version of windows you last run Crossfire on. Click "Next". On the following screen click the "Test Program" tab. If it worked you must close Crossfire and save your settings. If it doesnt work try a different Windows for compatibility. I used Windows 8.1 before installing Windows 10 and this worked for me. I hope this helps you guys as well.

CF is Now working with Windows 10 ..But there is some annoying bugs
Now I've updated crossfire and it has worked fine for the first time with windows 10 and very smoothly ... but when I closed it and tried to open it again it takes about half a min. and closes suddenly as if I hadn't opened it so it closes before I can join a room .. Also, I can't maximize its window.
plz help and if anyone has this issue tell me in this Topic -
No, crossfire can't run on windows 10 yet. Look Here!
But at first the xtrap was saying that the game is not compaitable with this version of windows but now the game opens smoothly but it closes suddenly without any message before I can enter any room , but when I opened it for the first time after the update it worked and I had played 2 rounds. -

Does anyone have this problem ??

If CrossFire still doesn't work for you on Windows 10 then please send in a support ticket with detailed information: http://support.z8games.com/
Here is a temporary fix if CrossFire still doesn't work for you in Windows 10:
If you are experiencing issues with Crossfire and Windows 10, try running Crossfire in "Compatibility" mode.
1.Go to OS (C)>Program Files>Z8Games>crossfire
2.Find crossfire.exe, right click
3. Click on "Troubleshoot Compatibility"
4.Then click on "Troubleshoot Program"
5.Check the first box "The program worked on earlier versions of windows but won't install or run now." Click "Next"
6.Click on which version of Windows you had previously installed before Windows 10, click next.
7. Click on "Test the Program"
8. If the version of windows you choose in step 6 works then close Crossfire and click "Save Changes", if it still will not run choose a different version of windows in step.
I hope this helps! -
There are a lot of bugs left.
Crossfire still crash after the steps from Abel95.
No sound, only grenade, crossfire menu (when you have to choose a server) is windowed. In windows 8.1 it was full screen my settings are on full screen.
Hope you will fix it as soon as possible.
