Proof that Danny was in a legal spot
I am Antonio "Truth" Brothers the leader from AoN, we played against Triforce5 yesterday and lost a round on Mexico due to a dispute that a player used positioning which gave him the advantage of being able to shoot the enemy and not be shot.
The dispute was supposedly proved by watching the replay. It's understood that replay is the only way to provide evidence. In this case we also have the past broadcasts of the twitch stream.
In the history of Crossfire it is very well known that replays are extremely inaccurate. Here are some examples of reports on the forums about replays being in accurate for character model positioning

2. Replays Changing when downloaded (http://forum.z8games.com/showthread.php?t=245391&highlight=replays)

I can go on and on with proof that replays in Crossfire sucks.
The reason the spot behind the billboard is considered illegal is because when fully behind it the character model is behind an invisible wall and can not be shot.

However, in our case our teammate never goes behind for one, and two, he can be seen and shot.
Proof he doesn't go behind the billboard provided by the stream. (The stream is more accurate than the crossfire replay.

As shown he never enters the illegal spot which gives him an advantage. He can be seen and shot.

What we would like is for overtime to be played and the third map to be erased.

I understand how you feel about spots such as this one, but boosts are used in other games as well. But in this case the point being made is that we did not violate the rules. -

This is a very unfair and I think that Wizdom is accurate in stating that the repay is inaccurate and instead they should have relied on video evidence. I re watched the stream and IT seemed legal to me. I really hoped that they reset that second map.
In the future I hope that they ban this boost because the player is on an portion of the map that is not intended to be played and is basically outside of the playing field or map regardless of if they can be seen or shot at. -

That would be an entirely different dispute. What you disputed for originally and what was reviewed was the billboard issue. Which is wrong.
So if you would like to file another dispute be my guest. X0tek clearly lied saying he killed you both in illegal spots. My post to the stream clearly shows he did not.
Do as you please, but your original dispute isn't valid.
And if it is overturned, a new dispute should not be allowed. We should just replay the map or just play overtime. -

I see what you mean Logic I saw the double peek behind the block near mid. I wish they had reset the map. It is not clear if he intentionally went behind it by mistake or not. -

billboard was deemed valid before they even got to the pillar, which is far more obviously illegal

Regardless, you were disputed and overturned for the billboard. The thing in mid was just another violation I noticed when I was looking at how he killed Logic (through the billboard) -

You are a known liar. He didn't kill logic trough the billboard. He didn't go to the illegal spot on the billboard meaning the decision made was wrong. We will see what they say. -
I did not kill logic THROUGH the billboard , watch the past broadcast, i was on the right side of the billboard before i threw my nade.
And you mentined i lag jumped( not sure what part of the map u are talking bout but i did not lagg jump anything in Mexico nor any other maps) -
How it looks on aztckks screen (and on stream) is different than how it looks for logic, the front of the billboard looks different than behind. We literally asked kyle a specific question regarding that part of the billboard before our match, and he said we would probably be dq'd jf we used it. There didnt seem to be any doubt in kyles decision when he made it last night, so i dont know why its even up for debate..?

Someone close this thread. There's nothing that can be done about it.
Take hockey for example, playoffs this season, habs vs senators. the senators took a shot at the goalie, and the ref thought the goalie had the puck so he blew his whistle, thus, making the play dead. When in reality the puck was on the ice and the senators put the pick in the back of the bet. There was nothing they could to overturn that ruling, just as there is no way to overturn the admin ruling. Sorry. -

The decision was rushed and it was unfair.

first of all you're wrong and have no evidence (a recorded 1v1 in a private room is not evidence in any way - the replay and stream are evidence and both clearly show him breaking numerous rules), but lets say you did and somehow a league miraculously overturned their ruling on a pre determined illegal boost 12 hours after a match (if wca does this they're a joke tbh) - we can just follow through with a dispute for going into the pillar twice lol -
Isn't that a spot where you have to pass through a damage spot? I haven't done that spot in a long time, but I was fairly sure there was a damage spot there to prevent people from doing it. I could be wrong. Shouldn't be legal if he took damage while getting to that spot.
I haven't looked at the replay yet, so I'm not here to judge one way or another. Just making an observation.
EDIT: Looked at the stream. Seems like the only damage he took was from fall damage off the door. Good luck in your ruling. -

Doesn't matter how long after, if the decision was wrong it was wrong. We got DQ'ed from the map for the billboard glitch being illegal. Also there is still time to rectify the situation. A replay would be nice. On his screen you cannot see through the pillar even if he accidentally bumped into it. So you can try to dispute that as well. Can you find anymore reasons to dispute? -

Why even use the spot
Because it's legal. If anything they need to ban it. Because the rules are so vague on it. I didn't even find out that going pass the billboard was illegal until someone told me last week. I didn't learn of it from any admin or even the rules.
Not even sure how they could make a decision without any rule to hold it up against. -
was watching the stream last night at work. danny fell off the top before he even got to the billboard. he threw a nade over a site and killed the guy he didnt throw a nade through it and so there was no billboard killing in any event.
The last round is what we're talking about.
Also, Tony, Aztckk was not far enough backward. All Micheal could see was his kneecap (I'll upload the replay POV for you when I'm home).
As for people asking about the spot, I am okay with him boosting. We didn't dispute over that. We dispute over him killing Logic through the billboard, and throwing a nade through it.
Coming from the master of weird boosts, your boost wasn't legal.
