This year the holocaust remembrance day falls on x-mas 
We don't celebrate the new year in Israel...those type of holidays are gentile holidays!

In no country is the Holocaust Memorial/Remembrance day in December.
Don't know where you learned your history but 6 million jews didn't die in concentration camps. Closer to 3 million did, the rest mostly in Soviet.
Not to in any way infringe of the horribleness of the concentration camps, but factual mistakes like that are what these disgusting revisionists thrive on.
To answer the question: Yes, I believe it happened and don't expect to be proven wrong. -
I think it's the industrial-like process that repels people, but it's not like the average citizen goes around thinking about this.Why do people still care about this? Its ancient history, just let it go... Why are there deaths more "valued" than the people who die every other day? -

oooooooh not a big deal now, it's okay it was only 3 million instead of 6. every where i go now, more and more people are trying to downplay the atrocities committed against the jews, and more and more, antisemitism against jews is rising in europe once again, especially in france/germany. world is heading down the same dangerous path it peruses to forget the crimes committed against innocent people. -

It wasn't the biggest genocide of the time, and not many from that time period are left. Yeah it did happen I had a bunch of family serve in ww2.
I always find it interesting it is still the most known one even though multiple genocides have happened in our life time. -
Calling it "old history" is very misguided. I know people, relatives, who I see and talk to, who breathed the same air as Hitl.er, and who, had they been born in Germany instead of France, would not doubt be alive today.
People often refer to it as a tragedy, and although it WAS, "tragedy" doesn't really fit the picture. Atrocity is more fitting. Tragedy connotes an emotional sadness, a certain humanity about it. If you read any book by any of the survivors or concentration camps, they are unanimous about one thing- there was no emotions. Everything was done in a cold, efficient, animalistic way. Prisoners were forced to lower their level of thinking, of existing, to remain alive. And you know what they say the only solution is? Forgiving and remembering. "In the face of such hatred, you can only respond with the one thing stronger than that- love."
That is the reason, I think, that the Jews, and the world for that matter, have done so much to remember this event. We cannot allow humanity to debase other humans in such a way, because it leaves a permanent scar on the lives of so many, and on the history that is the present. -
Still funny how the Russians and Japanese carried out larger mass murders in the same era but is less known . Shows people really don't care for the history or for the atrocities truly .why is that ?
From a scientific point of view , from all the medical advances the Germans gained via experiments on the Jews how long until society hits a point of more lives saved then lost ? -
I think the right attitude to have towards this is to see every life that has been saved because of this as a good thing coming from a bad one.
You can't add up the deaths and compare them to the lives gained. You must see the deaths and the atrocities as a whole, and then see each good thing that comes from it as a beacon of hope.

Indeed an atrocity, indeed a permanent scar of shame on humanity to ever allow something like this to happen. Not only the holocaust but also the other tragic events in human history: ethnic cleansing in Bosnia, the Armenian genocide in 1915, and even the "unpopular" events like the death of thousands of Muslims by Buddhists in Burma. (This are only but a few examples)
With that being said, we should not only remember these events but avoid their occurrence. It ****es me off when so much tragedy is mentioned and accompanied by the holocaust, but the fact that Israel uses this catastrophic event as an excuse for its oppression passes by unnoticed.

The reason why the holocaust is brought up is the same reason Civil Rights are brought up in America. It is a reminder of when oppression was not only tolerated but accepted as social justice.
EDIT: Also remember that Nicki Minaj included Nazi iconology in her music video and then claimed she had no idea of the similarities. -

The Arabs in historical Palestine did not have to leave their homes to accommodate citizens from other countries; i.e. from Eastern Europe, the States, etc. Think about it for a little.

You actually know that your country wanted to expand by making wars and it already did in past but it got fu**ed, so it's simply now fine with Palestine, right ?
I got no problem with the Jews, I'm Muslim and my religion simply says that I can't harm anyone, so if Arabs are trying to kill your soldiers then it's fine cuz they already attacking innocent people and stole their country, but if an Arabic guy tries to kill you or to kill any Non-Soldier guy then it's wrong and he becomes a Non-Muslim guy.
