no proper leadership or management skills encompassed by the people who have attempted to take the responsibility to try to bring this scene alive. people may think it is just a game and all of that but it isn't something a teen or someone with little knowledge surrounding the issues that plague this community could handle. if you are expecting the people on the other end of this game work with this version of the game, there needs to be proper representation/community to make their efforts worth while as well. they are going not going to put efforts in building the community though which is the first step if people want this game to have a competitive side again. it's simply not their job and doesn't really have the highest ROI for them when looking at various areas to invest their time/money into, pub scene is obviously more profitable for them. the comp scene could be as well but the % difference in in $/time is way higher as far as opportunity cost.

Game is old, too many bugs, cheaters, and this game does have pretty terrible graphics.

Competitive players ego completely deterred anyone from wanting to be a part of the community.

Nothing stable - Few tourneys here and there. We have something nice now but its too late.

It's hard for this type of game to get new players for competition. People would rather choose other games than this, for say CS:GO. That's why the same people always compete, slowly fading away unfortunately. I have a feeling once CF 2.0 comes out the pub scene will be much larger, the competitive scene can still go either way though.

the moment admeh and mido or medo are still here 1 tap gold HS with 150+ ping, I think z8games would rather quit running this game and let Egy takes over this game and let they play in the CFS 2015 represent CF Muslim from NA.
My point is, lots of people get tired over the hack in pub when we want to at least try to play vs some "rich players" with females char + VIPs to gain a better aim but this game get bored because the community is dead, what z8games do? Pushing players away by gaining more Egy.
6AM - 12AM > a room of 16 players, 14 people with 130+ ping and at least 2-3 hackers running around.

If the game system is improving and can bring more players to the competitive scene or bring back old players, that would be much nicer. The game system collapsed leads to collapsed of everything.

P/S: People play CS:GO. Why? An easy answer >> VAC Banned. What z8games can do? Nothing except giving free stuffs out.

The competitive community is the way it is because we failed to grow it. Simple. These threads have been shooting around for years and we've all come to the same conclusion, in my opinion anyway. Until CF 2.0 comes out I don't really see much happening with the size of our community.

It's all about competition going in compared to going out. And by the looks of things, out.

It's Z8 Games responsibility to maintain the community scene but all I see is players putting in backbone. Pick it up.. otherwise I'm not coming back until 2.0.

Maybe you didn't hear, "2.0" appears to be 4 maps updated to be prettier, and some GUI changes.

It's not 100% though, since they DID recruit programmers, and they wouldn't have to recruit programmers to make a few maps look better, so heres to hoping..

Is it that hard to do? The middle east has single handily killed the pub version of this game and that's where new teams and players come from to replace or replenish the competitive community. Compettitive players leave because they play the same people and as soon as they try different things in pubs a f***ing Egy is an invincible shotgun turret.

I haven't been around to much to know but it'd be nice if they upgraded the game entirely. It's not like they need to for some regions but a new look/feel would be god-like.

But if they did recruit programmers then I would assume more than that. Just have to wait and see. Would like to come back with some expectations but regardless of it all, hope the best.
