Is 20 too old?

I was 17 when I started my first year of college. It wasn't as bad as lots of people say it is.... the vast majority of people are between ages 19-25. You even have older people that are pretty funny to talk with sometimes lol. The stories they tell

17?! What? -

I am 17 and I still need 2 years in high school to get in college ._. And I never failed at any subject.. -
17?! What?
I'm 17 years old and this is my second year in college as a high school student. I should have my associate in science by the time I graduate as a high school senior.
Meaning, I'll have about two years of college left when I'm done (plus 1 semester maybe) this year. Instead of 4 years...
So yeah, 17. -
20 is probably the most common age here.
Graduate the high school equivalent at 18, take a year, on to the next one.
But of course, no age is weird. Goofs like me who got jobs and got used to the money right after high school won't join for a few years. -
It also depends on how old you look.
It is the exact opposite for me. I'm 20 and I'm in my second year, but I look about 16-17. People sometimes even think that I'm the little brother of someone (though it hasn't happened since I grew a little stubble). -
I'm 17 and i'll be going to college at Emirates aviation college. But there's a problem about my documentation and I needed to stop for 1 year.. that's why I'm enjoying CF lately.. 1st yr highschool to 4th year highschool in homeschool, and guess what i've finished it in a span of maybe 2-3 years.. 20 is common.. my school is from Philippines, but i'm homeschooling in UAE.. well its kinda boring. this thursday i'm giong to phil. to have some validating exam in order to study abroad. Wish me Luck guys cheers

Are you living on-campus, or just going during the day?
Either way, it doesn't make an ounce of difference. Although I will say, the freshmen girls will be more likely to hook up with you. They all want to meet older guys. Even if older means a year or two (so silly).
And as many people have already said, MANY people go back to school much later on in their lives. -
when i was taking classes i had more people over the age of 35 than people around your age. plus furthering your thoughts for education it doesn't matter what age group you really are. i plan on taking multiple subjects when i can and i'm turning 23 but haven't started yet. no worries you'll be just fine

Is 20 too old for being freshman in college?
Im really nervous and alittle bit shy
Not at all, I'm 21 and I have a good buddy of mine whose 26 who plays the game aswell. Nothing to be nervous about buddy. Heck my grandfather still watches Spongebob so we all got our quirks.
