So now this thread is from complaining about the kris to complaining about hackers and attempting to rationalize by declaring that the majority of them come from a certain area...
which is now leading into prejudice....

You don't know, I don't know what it is. All we know is that the Kris COULD BE OP, and that this thread was created as a response to that.
Personally, I don't think it's OP.
Reason being, I can easily knife or ax them after they fail a right click. -
If you want my opinion, you of the melee weapons it does take the least amount of skill to use.
It's silent 3rd person, so its deadly in GM. Kukri used to be so until this patch.
It can kill with a slash to the head, like the axe and just as fast.
It always kills if it hits with its right click and its ridiculously easy to aim with it.
I generally think most hybrid weapons are unbalanced and the kukri and kris fit that category.
It should be a notably higher reward in ZM, silver crates contain some of the best items. -

m12s isn't OP period, its just fast ans has the dmg of an mp5. And it has less power then the mp7...people just was *****in about it when it first came out because it was the one SMG at that point that didn't suck and could actually dominate...Oh... so we moved on from the M12s to the Kris.
Oh my.
The Kriss on the other hand is a stupid thing to even add to the game seeing as there were already enough damn ZP knives for people to use Vs. the butter knife and Axe (at that point in time when it wasn't the new money pit item...)
But of course Z8 and their puppet masters know that with $$$ you can buy 'skill' apparently and they have the breath down, OP knives, and feather-fall for people want it. -

Then you haven't faced a wall of laggy foreigners running at you spamming left clicks with it. Let me tell you it's not fun and if you had to deal with that then you'd understand how the kris is sooooo OP that it's not even funny.
As the threads OP said it's way to powerful and way too easily attainable and i agree with him.
Off Topic- In general all melee matches have degenerated into slash fests and those with the kris are in the forefront slashing away killing 2-3 people at a time(just by slashing). -

I don't see much difference between Kris and most others in terms of knifing. It's quite possible to kill them all before they kill you anyway, just keep BH'ing. GM is a different story, since the sound the weapon makes counts ... But no one is going to nerf anything. Shovel has been broken for a coupel of years now, and NOTHING has been done.

im bloody serious, i have never heard of 4chan b4 today.
It is a nearly unrestricted image board.
Best way I heard to describe it is "It is a massive explosion of crap.".
On topic:
Kris is indeed over powered.
Slashes as fast as a knife. (About 3 slashes a second)
Slash does 50 damage to chest, 100 to head.
has the range of axe with shovels right-click hitbox.
It very light allowing faster running.
Of all the melee weapons, it is only the kris that gives me regular trouble well trying to beat it with axe. I'm a Assassin A3 that I got the hard way, so my skill with melee weapons is well above average and a kris player just running around holding the slash is very hard to beat. I beat most Shovel, Katana, and Kukiri users with ease regularly.
In order of easy-hard to beat well I have a axe for me.
Easy: Knife-Katana-Shovel-Axe-kukiri-Kris :hard.
Or in short: Knife and Katana users have to be way better then me to win.
Shovel and Axes have to match my skill or higher to win.
And Kukiri and Kris only need a little practice to match or beat me. -
At least its not exclusive for ZP like the Kukri
That is what the problem is.
Not only does it require very little skill to use (Even when I try my hardest with Axe I rarely win against a kris user that just slashes and runs around), but anyone can get it for free.
It basically turns melee games into "Everyone needs a Kris to compete".
