From forums i came to know this program and its supports Crossfire.I tried it but it keeps giving me 'Failed to connect to server' error,anyone who has tried it and working please guide me. I'm using this because after the September update my ping increased +75.

To Mods,is this program illegal for CF ?

I have wired connection and nothing is changed,with the same setup my ping was good before September update but after it,it increased +75 ._.

I would just like to point out that anything that changes your IP is not approved for CrossFire. It is technically 3rd party software. Also, it makes for some strange security issues.

We would appreciate people NOT using these programs.

There is no right "way" to decrease your ping. The best you can do is either deal with it or buy a better internet.

Or just play other versions such as CF EU.

To clarify this: Playing CF EU if from NA actually gives you higher ping.

I have 53 and I am from Portugal. If I play EU I get around 40s.
He has 75 so I assume he is from EU. Playing EU will decrease his ping.

Out of curiosity, why is CrossFire listed under "popular supported games" on the WTFast website then?

WTFast does work. For Game, you put Cross Fire. Then Sort by Ping. Click the first one and press connect.

I get 35 ping.
With WTFast, I get 21.

It's dumb how you ret-arded forumers help people with your opinions.

Thanks for replying.I know that but my ping increased(if my ping is 30,now its +75 =new ping 105 ._.) after the September update and @Harry,yes the only reason i tried it and i also saw someone experienced player+forum mem. suggesting it...

Getting weird SNR margins,so i think it's problem in my phone line,i hope it will get fixed soon (:

Just because they support CrossFire, it does not mean that Z8Games supports their program.

Also, we do not support the use of 3rd party software, OR anything that changes your IP.

You should recommend to someone in the office who deals with this kind of stuff to go forward and approach WTFast about this then, as it is very misleading, then featuring it on their homepage made me think that they'd discussed with Z8Games and discussed this and are allowed to feature it.

Either that or someone should make an announcement about this because a lot of people use this program so it seems.

It's right in our terms and conditions... it should already be known that we do not support 3rd party programs.

I know it is but still, they're advertising it and let's just say we don't have the most intelligent player base at some times who don't read the the TCs (even though it's their fault).

I just see it as someone selling a chocolate bar what contains nuts but doesn't state it unless you read the fine print on the box it's bought in, the "contains nuts" should be properly printed (I know it's an awful example but all I could think of).

There ya go.

This issue has been brought to the attention of people other than me, who might have more control over this. Whether anything will change in regards to that site is not up to me, so I can't guarantee anything will happen.

At the end of the day, breaking the terms and conditions out of just not reading the rules... well, can't be surprised when/if punishments are doled out, when it is there, in regular font, for those to read when they sign up, and at any other time.
