Location Input
I just want input on where players would be happiest for a LAN location. I know there is another thread but its out of date and too vague.
We will start off with which REGION you would prefer.

Anything other than North Central (Toronto) or West Coast (LA) makes no sense, since you're clearly not doing "travel-friendly" (Indy/Chicago were great locations, everyone is an idiot).
PUT THE LAN NEXT TO A SERVER, SO WE CAN PLAY WITH 1-5 ping. Anything else is dumb. -

Both posts are 100% correct. Crossfire is filled with kids with autism who whine and ***** about everyhing while being entitled little *****s. Move on to a game like counterstrike where you can host an actual lan where people will be thankful for you putting one on. -
Toronto. Everyone's just going to look out for their own interests and everyone lives in different places. At least it makes more sense to have the lan where the servers and headquarters are. Don't bother putting effort into this, it's a game, it's their game, and it's their responsibility to host it.

Toronto would honestly have the best outcome. A huge amount of the playerbase lives there, or in the surrounding areas.
Not to mention the asian teams who would show up if the prize was worth it.
You will never get a populated, successful lan in the states. No LAN client, won't be enough players willing to go, the reason partially being that most of the community is 14-17 years old without any solid income other than what their mom/dad gives them.

The location is not the problem.
I mean people want to go to china for the price money. China like the worse location to go for LAN tourney and yet people go because of the price money.
Plus you should just give up on trying to help this rude cf community. They see everything as a joke like their ego. -

Egypts a **** hole, those ****ers put me on a camel and wouldnt let me off until my parents gave them money. Plus the food there gave me the worst flu ive ever had.
Thank god I dipped to europe after 2 weeks there.
im never going to any arab countries (or anywhere in africa)
