Why members of Carbon should be unbanned.

The players who were banned for cheating should never be allowed to play again. They lied to the community, lost trust, and were caught.
The community needs to stay strong and make sure we send clear messages to players who think cheating is okay.
IMO, if you feel that you need to cheat to win, it shows signs of a character flaw and weakness.
Yet also another reason to host tournaments lan style. -

No. Not true. When KC had its lan people from ALL over would come. Chicago, Dallas, Denver, St. Louis. Sometimes even the coastal areas.
If you have it at a location that creates less overhead people will come. It all depends on the owner/community leaders to make it happen. establish a budget, get a place where you can have a 3-5 year contract, ect... things that can make it cheaper for you.
I am not saying people who run this community dont do a good job, they have to sift through a lot of bs, and rhetoric within the community, but one thing is for sure, if this game does not start having lan finals, it will not last long and teams will continue to start up and die every season. If you do not build equity into your teams, nothing will last, and CF will never make it to the "big show" like how LoL does or CS does in NA. Teams will continue to cheat. Like they do now, and nothing will change. Pings should not determine how well a team is, it should be based of even playing field.
Take for example Kansas City. Its cheap to fly to MCI, its cheap to stay here. The airport is easy to get from. Google fiber is here. There are also even places that are trying to become a gaming arena. Not that you would have to rent out such place... but do you understand what I am saying? Its feasible if you put in the time to find a good location.
If you want this game to excel you need to cut out the crap. Keep the bad players banned, and start having lans. Its been proven by esea that you can be successful in doing so. Their business model is not rocket science. They established themselves in the competitive community, lets take some notes and learn from our mistakes, and build this community in the same manor. Or die off like every other failed fps game in NA.
The choice is yours.
