Hello,
Thank you for contacting the CrossFire Support team about the reported X-Trap issue.
We apologize for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you. Thank you for submitting your information. We are aware that some Windows Vista have issues since the last X-Trap update 9013.
Last Friday we reported the issue to the X-Trap team but it seems that the issue is not only related to Windows Vista. For further investigation we need a file from your X-Trap folder. It typically looks like “XTrapDATElog.txt” where DATE stands for the day you received the error. It is located typical under C:\Program Files (x86)\Z8Games\CrossFire\XTrap\.
Please try zipping up the file using a .zip or . rar program, and upload that file with your reply.
Maximum file size for upload is 10 MB, maximum time allotted for upload is 5 minutes. If the upload times out, please try a faster connection.
Your information will help us to fix any false detection from X-Trap. As soon we have a fix for the issue we will test it and apply it live to the servers. In the mean time we recommend to play CrossFire on a different Windows version computer if possible. Thank you for your patience.

Yes, you are supposed to send the XtrapDatelog.txt to them so they can (hopefully) find the source of false ha.ck detentions.
The "Date" is 4 numbers that represent the month & date of your most recent error of false ha,ck detentions, however simply sending that .txt file to support isn't directly so because you'll need to compress it by creating a .zip or .rar and putting that .txt file in there and then upload it to them.... -

So we just send them a copy of our Xtrap folder right? -

Not the X-Trap itself. Go into the folder and go to all your files that say "XData1022", "XData1021", "XData1020", "XData1019" or something that looks similar to these. Compress those files and send it to them in a support ticket. -
We have a new X-Trap update!
Please remove the entire X-Trap folder (typical under C:\Program Files (x86)\Z8Games\CrossFire) and patch the game by executing as Administrator the application “CF_G4box.exe” in your CrossFire folder.
The new version should be 9020.
Thank you for your patience!
In case you get any error with version 9020 please submit a ticket so we can report any issues immediately. Thanks again.
