Esg why?

Dear ESG, Why would you waste 2 Weeks of our time showing up for matches that no longer count and change my schedule without me knowing well in advance too, so I could arrange my team to be able to play. We assumed we would be alright for tonight since our team we were scheduled to play (until today when we were changed) was a consistent no show.
Can you explain why you take away wins from a team like ABC that beat ACE, and now tell them you wasted 2 weeks of their time and on top of that, are going to take away their most valuable win? To me that seems really unfair. I think you should have just let the schedule you had be played out and just given consistent no shows, auto FF losses. Why did you also not post the new schedule in advance? I work a lot and when you make changes without me knowing well in advance who I am playing and when, its hard for me to show up to these things. I suggest you reconsider this change, and find a way to be fair to those teams who already won games, as its truly awful for a league to say "Oh that fair win you got doesn't count".

edit; oh yeah and btw, half the teams, maybe more, reported wrong lmfao. I don't think many teams realize that every half counts including the win.. So when teams report stuff like "10-3 final score" or "14-5" and you show a screenshot thats 7-3 first half and then 2nd half its 4-2, you're not showing complete proof of the 2nd half win. -

Not to mention ABC.XYZ reported the no-show 18 minutes after default not 20, so technically Adrenalize still had 2 minutes to show up (nobody reads the rules

The reason I reported my score 14-4 instead of 12-4 (what the screenshots show) is because the team left after the game was over, basically forfeiting the last two rounds. Polleus said rounds count in the event of a Tie in standings, so it makes sense that one team should always have 14 if they won both halves.
It does suck that you didn't see the schedule change, but polleus made it very clear last week that the schedule was going to be different starting tuesday of this week. I find it hard to believe that no one on your team bothered to check, even if you were busy.
I also don't think it makes sense to basically erase the last two weeks, but i can't think of a better solution other than to just leave it how it was. There isn't much we can do except to just keep playing. Mateusz is probably right, they will just say "Don't like it? Don't play in our league".
Also i doubt you will get an actual response from an ESG admin here. Just the usual "If you have an issue submit a support ticket". -
What schedule was changed besides WHO you were playing?
Defaults were always Tuesday and Thursday of each week. This hasn't changed whatsoever, so I'm not sure what you're going on about with schedule changes.

So you'd rather give playoff spots to teams who can potentially forfeit their way there, rather than earn it? I understand we're taking a way a couple of games, but it's a double edged sword here. I'd rather see teams EARN their way to the end, rather than being handed free wins. We might as well end the season now and auto-calculate records and points based on teams we know won't show up. -

Nobody would get to the playoffs without earning it, each team still played every team once. So to be in the playoffs it isn't enough to just show up for the FF wins. Basically what you did was erase any progress a team made (most popular ABC beating ACE), and restarted a new league that gaurantees no FF wins. I think there was probably a better way of doing this that would make the community happy and also prevent FF wins each week.
An idea i had is to basically leave the rankings how they were, but the teams that had actually played matches would be seeded differently. For example i noticed for the rest of the league we play each team once, and one team twice. The teams (example: ACE and ABC) that actually played would be seeded against the lower ranked teams (example: obliteration or ABC.XYZ) twice. While other teams like my team and FSX (who got all FF wins so far) would play a higher ranked team twice. -

Okay let's get things straight. Suppose there are 5 teams out of 16 that never show up. Every one of the 11 active teams would play each of those 5 teams and get the forfeit win, 3 points. How is a team going to forfeit there way there when literally every team would bank 15 points off the dead teams, essentially evening out the playing field. The only thing this new schedule has done is rob the teams that won legit matches out of their points.
I'm honestly just trying to understand why you made this decision if you want the best teams to earn their spot in the playoffs. -

I think everyone who got a win of any kind earned it. No show or not, they took time out of their day to either win a match or wait for one to show up that had the other team showed up they could have won. People work their busy lives around an event, and to tell them it doesn't count is silly. Big events will always have no shows. It is unfair as a league though to simply throw every win that these teams got out because you don't like the turnout.
I think by giving auto FF to teams who miss more than 1 match, you balance the ability of 1 team to make it through simply off FFW's because we still would have had to play everyone in our group. I honestly think it shows poor preparation from a league when they say a match won legitimately doesn't count and they will be reformatting the leagues. Every other event where many teams didn't show has played out and it has been fine.
What you did is the equivalent of me making everyone play the first round of a go 4 cup, then switching around brackets slightly and restarting the event because I didn't like the number of no shows. To me this just seems silly and a complete waste of everyones time, and I wouldn't do that to people. -

Im sorry to tell you this but the FTC which regulates companies in their practices sees Vemma as a legit company. So please tell me your reliable source of information.
