CFStars 3 - Brazilian qualifier announced
So, the BR qualifier will take place between July and September and will involve 2 parts:
1 - League style tournament with 6 teams;
2 -the first four teams will advance to the LAN finals.
The finals will happen at X5 Mega Arena, this is what the first edition of the event looked like.
Apparently the total prize pool for the finals is R$50,000 (roughly 25,000 USD) and the winner will also participate in CFStars Season 3, which will be held in South Korea (date to be announced). The total prize pool for CFS is 250k USD (I'm guessing 100k for the winner?) and apparently there will be only 1 Chinese team this year, which means 12 teams in total. So, what do you guys think?

tldr na sucks -
Our version is cheap. I told G4Box/Z8Games months ago about the Indy LAN yet they pushed it aside. They could have easily made the prize money for the tournaments to go towards travel expenses.
Or they have a head on their shoulders and know that a LAN in Indy is a completely brainless idea. -

Apparently there was a little misunderstanding in the Chinese team part... Since the CFS 2 top 3 (Ag.Pepsi, EP & Modern) was composed entirely by CN teams, they have only 1 more slot open (which btw was destined to the CFPL Season 5 winner, but since AG.Pepsi won and EP placed 2nd, the last spot will probably be given to the winner of Red Lanterns vs. O.M.S Earth, 3rd-4th placers @ CFPL).
Also, Brazil will send only 1 team this time around, probably because CF Español will get a spot.
