and how about the UK Players ? (Romania , Germany , Italy) they can play / can participate ?
Only if you understand that these games are in the Eastern time zone. I can't force teams to play you early in the day because of the time difference. -

EDIT: You're not a UK player unless you reside in the UK. Romania, Germany and Italy are all European countries, not UK countries (The UK is in Europe but that doesn't mean if you live in Europe you're from the UK, it's like saying, Canada is in North America so that means I'm from the US!) I hope people can tell the difference. People from the UK in this game are different from people from Europe in this game because of the licenses. People living in Europe outside of the UK are able to compete in CF EU but people living within the UK are stuck on this version. Sorry just wanted to explain that. My advice to you is, if you don't live in the UK and you live elsewhere in Europe, play CF EU if you want to compete at normal hours. -

How many rounds of post season will there be? Best of 5 seems like a lot, although i think finals should still be best of 5. Keep in mind 7 round halfs aren't that much longer than first to 10 format.
Will the other map be The Mine?!

And Josh I'm pretty sure he meant UK server players because you lack enough decent UK players who still actively play this version of the game to play a pug.
I know but they can't really called them selves "UK players" they should be playing CF EU if they wanna compete. -

Sadly enough the amount of UK players relative to the non UK European players that still play this version is extremely small. You'll need some non UK Europeans to participate in tournaments. What you said however is the sad truth. The UK community was already incredibly small and after being seperated from the rest of Europe it was essentially a death sentence. -

Your opinion of the video editing is extraordinarily important and has to do tremendously with the actual topic.Font's not that great imo and didn't like the bevel / emboss effect.
Fire fx is kinda overused.
Different kind of epic music could be used instead of this one (feels like no impact when announcing the registration)

Each team can play "their" (decided by knife round) half in any server they choose.
For example,
Team A vs Team B
Team A wins knife round in bo1 match on port and chooses GR side + Echo Server
Team B plays BL on Echo server
@ halftime Team B can opt to play their GR half in UK2 server, or play in Echo -

With this home team will decide which server their half is to be played in. Away team gets to choose for the second half.
For best of series, the tiebreak map (3, 5, 7) will be played solely in NA 5 server.
Starting side will be determined by a knife round in NA 5 server.
Now for some restrictions to server choice:
1) If you choose a server besides NA 5, your ping as a team must decrease.
ie: No maliciously choosing west coast or uk, just to make others ping higher. There must be a benefit for your team.
2) Average ping of both teams must be below 150. If for some reason it is above this, regardless of who chose what servers, the match will be played in Echo.
ie: Multiple west coast players trying to play on UK, and vice versa.
This means that the most balanced ping will be taken in these extreme situations.
3) You must let the other team know your intent to play in a server a head of time in match comms at least 3 days ahead (ie: with in the first 24 hours with the match comms thread is opened). This will give people time to adjust what they need to strategy wise a head of time. Furthermore this statement is final.
ie: You can't say, "we'll play our halves in the UK server" and then change your mind at match time.
For pick/ban best of series, the server choice of first half will follow an ABBA stop watch format. This means the same team doesn't get server choice more than 2 times in a row.
I feel something along these lines still favors/prioritizes the toronto servers but doesn't leave the people from the west coast or uk left feeling empty.
Please post your concerns/problems that you see with what I proposed.
