Perhaps, but the fact that I hit a burst and do 28 and have a guy running across the map and hit his burst with 140 ping is annoying. You think I would reg first, but I guess I have no luck.
Point wise we should have 100 pts, but we never got our 40 from a couple of weeks ago. That would put us in the top 8. Not bad for practically just showing up to games
Considering you don't play this game anymore you and I play casually I probably have a better shot, your game sense would be far superior though and if you actually returned I would eat my words. Since you aren't though I'll flash my feathers.
Overall though I overreacted, but I think it brings up a good question about people opinions abou non NA players or teams competing within NA. If this is acceptable, some players and teams (from NA) could probably play from ES or EU and have twice the chance at money.
I wouldn't worry about my shot. It's not dependent on how much I play. Only a dumb chicken would flash it's feathers at a mountain lion. Then again the team we played wasn't very good, but I am guessing they are comparable in skill level to yours as I know nobody on either team.
EU players play in CF.EU, but UK players are exiled from that league/version. So the few who do want to play competitive play in ESL/ESG.
This game engine is terrible. It has been terrible for years. It was terrible even before crossfire was created. To complain about it now just shows how late to the game you are.
As for ESL points, you get points just for showing up, due to the number of forfeits and strange bracket creation on their end. Not being in the top 8 is down right embarrassing. There is what 4 teams that actually play, maybe 5? -

Personally I was probably more mad at myself for not hitting the basic shot on cat and was stupid enough to push the issue every round. With lagging issues in the second half and DCing for overtime I clearly went over the edge.
Although I'm amused that folks continued to post "OP is stupid saying high ping > low ping after I stated it was satirical, I'm going to let it die as it was just a "seeing red approach". The shots that I got mad over were probably more of my unsteady "bio like" ping than their steady 140. The shots in the first half were probably just good. I guess when you play with a steady 140 ping you adapt accordingly and comparing my once in a blue moon UK visit makes that irrelevant.
Since I know changing the topic to ES/EU/Demographics and their teams/players joining NESL and vice versa won't work, I'll just let it die. -

I know. Bad game which was very discouraging and when I refocused to hope to make an impact in OT my roommates DC'd me with my horrible WiFi. Lost any composure whatsoever. -
I'm quitting the game cause the higher ping the more of an advantage you have. In a scrim playing dog I out peeked Jaime (normal ping) 5/6 times (but then Ralf peeked mid and always got the trade). Yet in ESL a 120-140 ping out peaks me 5/5 times from cat to dog. 3rd world kids clearly are Gods at this game.

The game does get to me, at least I don't go around getting mad at people for it.

What I find amusing as I've been waiting for someone to drop the real nuke and send me crawling in a hole, but since no one knows what a satire is here I'll state what could've been someone's glory. I'll try to keep it short for the people who insist on not reading yet commenting (Doop is one of the few people that have actually read and argued relevantly as a example - wish more were like that)
I'll speak from a 3rd person view:
If this was indeed a satirical approach to complain (which it was) then you essentially are arguing and embarrassing yourself. You state "high ping has a greater advantage than low ping" to stir up the pot and get plenty of reply's of "that's not true, low > high" so you then can say "exactly my point, why was I out peeked so bad by high ping". Then in a round about way you essentially said "I have a ping advantage and I got annihilated still". In a round about way you ended with the same result that you wished to avoid which was: you got annihilated and had a bad game.
Could've went in depth with that and explained every little thing (which is almost needed for 75% of the Forumers here), but keeping it "short" was necessary. I am surprised that no one picked up on this cliché.
I'm sure everyone's had those stupid moments (for lack of a better term), where anger blinds you every which way. Not excuses, I take responsibility, but everyone cracks. Personally I'm probably more liable due to the fact that I pressure myself way to much in many areas. Something I need to work on. Then again, we all do have something. -

High ping players are better used to dealing with high ping...which means they're used to dealing with large amounts of peek advantage and abusing it...I wish I had high ping, just so I could always get a lot of peek advantage over everyone

I already stated that in a previous post, after I recollected myself. Not dense, just a stupid reaction where I totally went haywire.
