Need some help improving my movement
Quick question to the comp players. Well yesterday I went 2-11 in a scrim at a half not due to aiming issues, my aim was on point. I'm having issues with players that have ~80-90 ping. It was against bio which has great players but nonetheless sometimes more than 2 snipers. So if I peek, I'm dead more than 70% of the time against a sniper mainly due to the fact that this games quickscope mechanic is too easy, and if it's long range then I'm dead on a decent sniper. So my solution? Don't peek. Its so hard once I get peeked the players fly so fast on my screen and I die before I see anybody. So my solution? Smokes, flashes, and sound. Doesn't work they zoom through everything like it's no problem and if I'm too backed up and don't see anything through smoke it seems as if I'm baiting especially on subbase in b. So does anyone have any solutions? I'm not mainly aiming towards bio, they are a good example.

That's online crossfire for ya. Personally I play awful against bio, can never seem to 20 them (because they have 5 players with 80-120 ping). Actually just recently had a conversation with famous on them, there's not much you can do. Peek, die. Don't peek, die.

Like I'm thinking this game takes no skill. This is the only shooter I've seen where where no matter your aim, if you're up against a high ping sniper/rifler you will die -

Ho boy... All these theories the only one that really knew how it all worked was Reid. Thats why he puts his lowest pinger, zzxq, stagnant on doublestack on b in port. Because you have lower ms you *should* see them first and your shot *should* reg first. But these are only applicable based on two factors: The angle you peek and who peeks first. I can show you in game in more detail but there really is no advantage like others claim but rather an imbalance. Even when i play Bio on sub they ran multiple scopes and I was getting ripped (keep in mind I have 75ms) from grates crossing quad, from woods, etc. Plus.. Dont underestimate their abilities, toonie is a great sniper, failed is a great sniper, even zilla can snipe well, just play your angles smarter and make use of your nades. -

Ok I'm sorry but I'm just going to end the conversation with you by assuming this. I assume you've never watched any of jaimes video, is his aim good? One of best in the game. Ok then blame ping instead of blaming your playstyle, lol. Im sure theres soooommeeone out there that can frag more than twice against bio with low ping.. -
lucci might have said this already but against people with high ping, people with lower have to use registry to their advantage. Speaking generally, 50 ping 'should' reg before 100 ping if you both shoot each other at the same time. There is a so called peek advantage in this game, which is given to the person who is moving. So therefor you should always strafe angle, never just hold an angle standing still as you will get 'interped' by the person that peeks you.

I think one thing you might not understand is that when vsing a player with 80-100 ping (such as in bio) you get the same peak advantage as they do. Although you may not be used to using something like that to your advantage you can. I personally play with 50-60 ping and i don't mind it at all, but i do understand your frustration. I don't ever hold an angle, especially on a team like bio... and if i do i am moving the entire time. My suggestion to you is to play more aggressively, you have the same peak advantage as they do. If there is a sniper sitting on bridge in mexico you should be able to peak shadow and take him out before he can shoot you.

This is true. Snipers have to stay still while scoping to get accuracy. Use this to your advntage, if there is a sniper crouching hard scoping a spot and you peek, you have the peak advantage. From there it just comes down to hitting your shot. -

Well, Tbh when I'm playing against bio, I hate when they use like 3 scopes. And even before the game starts, I'm telling this to my team mates and I often say where the snipers gonna be because I know their gaming style since i've played with them for 2 years. It's still pretty hard to kill all these 3 snipers since (like said before) all their 3 snipers are above average. And Imo, it's even harder now since it seem that Failed get his shots back. But well, USUALLY, I do good against bio and rarely go like 2-11.

I understand man, ping is an issue in this game because its not just our connection with the server but it can cause terrible reg when there are high pingers. There is not an FPS with perfect reg and no interp, but that doesn't mean the people who program cf cant add better reg in an "update". One way to help u reg better on the higher pinging players is, to get lower ping,and im not saying this will "solve the problem" but it will get the BEST possible ping out of ur internet provider as possible. It connects directly to the crossfire servers instead of going through ur provider. Go to this website www.wtfast.com and do the FREE trial for now. If you like it u can buy a membership if u like it. Sorry, was the point of this thread to show your frustration with under performing so that your team doesn't second guess their decision to pick you up? I though that you were "requesting help improving your movement" and not ignorantly trying to defend your standpoint saying hurrduurr ping sucks yooo.

Go ahead ask them that's pretty much the only scrim I under performed. As a matter of fact I asked my team first before I brought it to the forums. Why else would I bring it to the forums? I wanted tips from other players in how to counter gameplay like this. I couldn't care less about anyone elses opinion on the peek advantage and ping issue. I told the forums why I'm bringing the thread up clearly, I stated I tried everything and wanted someone elses solution. Of course first thing you do is post off the topic. I never asked for anyones opinion, I wanted d other players solution to counter the issue. That's all.
Your comment about the second guess. Those players all have experience, why would anyone judge teammates upon second day of playing together. No organized strats at all, we just made the team with wisdom gathering everybody, ive played with half of them before and they know me well, I might make excuses in game but sure as hell don't make excuses to try and make myself look less bad. Wiz and jul know me my excuses are on strictly the game, if they don't want me in they know they can tell me without being shady -

Thanks I tried this way before few problems I had with this and what it does with the connection, I figured the cons overweight the pros in this one.
