Have anyone else won the DE Red Dragon from the 10 free crates only?
I didn't know we had a DE RD...

I understand how you feel, happened to me while trying to win the AK47-Knife-RD and won Barrett RD instead. My friend spent ZPs and ZPs to get the Original Barrett, and I won the RD one "without" problems. He mad.

I started playing crossfire in 2009, and there was a really good community vibe, everyone would congratulate everyone on good kills and if they got a nice killfeed or what ever. i took a two year break to focus on exams and now im all sorted i started playing causally again, and since i got back, all i see is absolutely everyone who ever gets 3 headshots in a row or more than 4 kills in a round of Search and destroy getting kicked from games, this has happened to me alot recently, and was wondering what everyone else thought about this.

    Thanks
    -Jakers.

Their are alot of issues with hackers recently in the game which makes everyone suspicious of them. Alot of people hide their hacking programs until they start dieing alot then use them mid-game or at the end. I played since 2009 too but ever since then hackers have been getting moderately lower but the intensity of the hacks now are more broad. Now people can teleport spawn and kill you instantly through walls, Which in my opinion is the worst because I play wavemode and they spawn at last tower kill it and win in 2 minutes tops. But I do face that issue alot regarding kicking. Since I've played for a long time I've been known for headhunting ( Headshoting ) and about 1/3rd of my KDR is all headshots. But, You could atleast understand that perspective I'm implying. It is unfair and painful yes, But their isnt much you could do to avoid getting kicked, Sadly that goes for everyone, Thats why I play with WelFares, Clan mates support you and kick the people trying to get you kicked, Very team supporting!

The patch has been alive for 4 hours now but still hackers run around CrossFire.

Today, I saw after the patch:

    - Spawn Hack
    - Speed Hack
    - Speed Knife

So what have you done against this? Nothing? Is it that easy to hack CrossFire? Is the strength of the code too weak? Or is x-trap failing to do it's job again?

I know you can't rid of all hackers but at least get rid of the major hacks like speed knife and spawn hack...

As posted as before,Z8 Does their best to prevent hacking and cheating over crossfire. First, What could you possibly do to totally annihilate hackers and cheaters? It's a long-term goal it isnt going to be reached overnight. But! They are working at it with more xfire patches and promoting Mods and GM's to assist in the effort. They are increasing the security of the game, Not decreasing it. But hacks are like an infestation, You have to get to the root of the issue before you can clear it up. Sadly, It will take time but have faith and report hackers. More Feedback means more action!

Doesn't seem to apply to those who have no friends in the game.

And another issue I see with the players is conflicting with others. Be more respectful and provide sufficient information always helps better your case in the time of need. Stop being negative and be more positive and assertive! Being rude and mean will only cause others to dislike you and avoid you, Just my tip for a positive attitude!

If you didn't know, It was peaceful time for CrossFire between 2010 - 2013. There weren't many hackers, maybe you will see a 1-4 a week. But the most important thing which helped was the patches. Everytime, we had a patch, there will be no hackers for at least 2 weeks.

But everything changed in mid 2013, hackers started increasing, players were using private servers, more cheats were available. It felt like X-Trap stopped working. Even after a few hours of a new patch, hackers were around. But the situation didn't change, it kept getting worse and worse until we reached a point where most players don't care anymore or have quit the game because of it.

If you compare 2010 - 2013 (mid) and 2013 (mid) - 2014. You will see a huge difference.
  • Regarding the X-trap.

    Hello.

I saw about that new advanced x-trap version but it requires to manually install it by deleting some .dll file.

Having an advanced anti cheat tool is pretty cool.

But since it's manually installed, Why would a hacker install it? Like If I'm hacking, Why would I install something that prevents me from hacking?

Are you gonna make an update to install it automatically or what?

P.S. Before I post this thread, I was playing an Eagle Eye map. I found there 4 hackers. One was speeding, one was no recoiling, one was walling and other one got all of those..
  • Hopefully they at least get rid from aim bots and speed knives because you can't stand a chance against those..
  • The only thing that it changes is the UI, nothing else.
  • The only thing that it changes is the UI, nothing else.

    I can see that haha.
  • One thing about the blackmarket system is quite funny and misleading. I know how it feels to buy tons of ZP and get nothing out of it, This month alone I bought 400,000 and spent 350,000 on crates and didn't even get an item. It can be frustrating I agree but nothing is fair and balanced in a gambling marketplace. I do believe better systems should be implemented but, Hey what can you do? Best tip for you is to make a suggestion for a new balanced system, Thats the best I got bud
    - Sincerely, Killerkyle55, Regards -

    STOP IT
seriusly? why are you buying such huge zp amounts?
Z8 is not worthy our money
And the game is full of hackers
so why would you want to win something tha you cant use?
let them stay without money so that they will andersand that hackers = no money
  • Also i been trying to get the armsel striker for a while now, saw it 3 times :(

    I saw dual mp7a1 2 times
  • The hacks will be stopped when Obama killed finaly the Muslims.

    muricans sould be killed ok
but muslims sould be burned alive
  • xtrapsucksbysamuraimo.gif

Do I need to say more?

Sadly, You shouldn't be degrading X-trap, It does give Client errors to hackers alot removing them out of the game. Unfortunately, Their isn't much to fix about that. But, Atleast it's working.

So the new solution to the hacking situation is to allow players to choose whether to install the updates that would disable the hacks they are using?

Dunno if there is enough sarcasm to comment on this operational system, which I hope is false.
