Good advice. Pair an ancient GTS 450 with a 3770K to bottleneck the **** out of it.

It might be ancient but performs better than gtx 650 etc. My pc stays at 40-50 degrees while "bottlenecking" and has been for the last 4 years so I don't see where the negative part of this is?

Eh, it is in no way a faster card than the 650... lol. Also, where did temperatures come into the discussion?

Don't listen to this donkey, he's either trolling or a complete ******.

I doubt he even has any of those claimed systems. How do I know? He claims he's had his 3770k build for 4 years....

3770k is ivy bridge... A chipset which was released 1 years ago. 4 years ago, people were still buying core 2 quads... Dumbass.

    It's impossible. I think.
But he can download it on his working computer, and burn it in a disk and easily make it work on his new pc.

It's the best pc building guide on the internet. Here's a new site dedicated to it.

yh I am not at that house right now. Might be a 2770k or sometihng alike it. If you want proof that I have got these pc's just pm me. Lmao I even uploaded a pic on it in the gaming rigs thread. I am just saying. You fools who can't even get 200 fps and then tell me I am a fool for getting it. I pity you. If you know this much about pcs you should prove it lmao.

Prove what lmfao? That you don't have SLI 690s?

I said: "I doubt he even has any of those claimed systems".

I never set out to prove that you have a ****ty computer. I set out to prove that you were a donkey. A statement that I thoroughly confirmed by demonstrating your complete lack of computer knowledge.

PS: Sandy-Bridge is 2 years old, not 4.
  • The pc is 3-4 years old. Just checked it up. It has got a sandy bridge processor so idk where you get your nonsense from. You must live in some poor ass place. Now shush. Even the case is called new sandy bridge limited edition lmao. FYI there are pre-editions of every bridge. The ivy bridge pre-edition came 2012. Just because they officially provided people with it 2013 doesnt mean it came then.

There's no such thing as a "pre-edition" chip. Generally speaking, the earliest sample you can get of a chip is the "engineering sample", the developers sample and finally the reviewers sample. If somehow you managed to get your hands on a Sandy Bridge system in 2009 plz tell me.

The way I see it, there are a few possibilities.

    1. You somehow got your hands on a classified engineering sample from Intel headquarters back in 2009 and manufactured your own custom in-house socket and chipsets to build a compatible motherboard.

    2. You traveled forward into time by 2 years through the 4th dimension, acquired a Sandy Bridge system, went back to the present time and somehow defied multiple physical laws since you didn't disrupt your continuum.

    3. You're lying.

    4. You're ret4rded.

3 and 4 seem to be the most likely possibilities.
  • God you're dumb. You did not understand a single word of what I have been saying. just crawl back to your cellar. You obviously don't know **** about processors if you've never heard of pre-editions for testing. We even had an ivy bridge processor 2012 at our school lmao. I am done with your bs kiddo.

    Yep, definitely option 4.

PS: My cousin works as an EE for Intel.

EDIT: Please provide evidence before making baseless claims. If you say your PC is 4 years old and has a SB chip, show me the evidence! Pics, SSs, receipts, what have you
  • Lets put your assertion of "pre-edition" processors to the test.
Thankfully, the internet provides many simple and easy methods of debunking such idiotic claims. My favorite of which is Google search:

Now as you can see, a simple search for the term "pre-edition" reveals no relevant results. Hmmmm... interesting.

Now at this point, you must be thinking to yourself, goddamn it, this Concept kid is a complete dumbass, Google search doesn't prove ****.
Ok **** Google search then, we need to dig deeper...

This should do it, a news article about the first time Sandy Bridge was revealed to the public. http://www.extremetech.com/computing/83848-sandy-bridge-intels-nextgeneration-microarchitecture-revealed

Opening paragraph: "At this week’s Intel Developer Forum in San Francisco, Intel wasted no time revealing the most anticipated technology of the three-day conference: its second-generation Core microarchitecture, code-named Sandy Bridge."

"By Matthew Murray on September 18, 2010 at 4:00 pm"

Oh wait... if it was written in 2010, and you got your PC in 2009, how did you even know of the existence of Sandy Bridge, let alone get your hands a SB PC???
Okay... well a news report is biased at best, and often journalists can be misinformed. Sometimes journalists just straight mess things up. Who knows, maybe he was high or something and accidentally put 2010 instead of 2008.

Lets cross-reference with a different article just to make sure. Here's a good one: http://www.bjorn3d.com/2010/09/idf-2010-sandy-bridge-revealed/

    "IDF 2010: Sandy Bridge Revealed"

"Posted by: Peter Kapas September 15, 2010"

Hmm, it appears this one was written in 2010 as well... Odd.

Ok, now you're seriously stressed. You're shirt is drenched in body fluid, your balls are sinking into the deepest part of your perineum and the your recently grown pubic hair is starting to seriously itch, I know... **** puberty.

BUT... reporters can get things wrong. Lets go straight to the source then. You would think that the makers of the chip would know what they're talking about right?
What does Intel have to say about all of this?

    http://ark.intel.com/products/codename/29900/sandy-bridge
This is Intel's complete lineup of Sandy Bridge processors. Included with this chart are MSRPs, thread count and of course, launch dates.

OH SH1T!!!! NOT A SINGLE PROCESSOR WAS LAUNCHED IN 2009! THE EARLIEST SB PROCESSORS WERE LAUNCHED IN Q1 OF 2011! HOW COULD THIS BE!?!?!?!?!

Time slows down. You're breathing gets heavier. You can't see straight. It feels like the world is crumbling around you. As the void swallows you, you realize how much of a failure you've become. Tears start to build in your eyes, memories of your youth flash in your head. You think of your mother, the one who raised you from her womb, the one who loves you, Oh how ashamed she would be if she witnessed this moment. You collapse to your knees as you remember the first time you tasted her milky nipples. You can't take it anymore, there's only one thing left for you to do. You walk to the kitchen and pick up the steak knife. Your brother cries as he tries to pull the knife out of your hands. The knife won't budge, your grasp is tremendous. Slowly... you pull down your pants. At this point, your whole family is there, but it's too late, there's nothing they can do, you're committed. And just like that, you do it. Your mother collapses, you look straight into the eyes of your father, he's crying, you've never seen him cry before. You look down at what you've down, you're p3nis is missing. You just cut it off. You realized you don't deserve to be a man.
