I think Z8games Deserves more Credit
I honestly think the forums are full of QQing noobs with no sense of gratitude except when they get stuff.
Z8 is working hard to fix the problems. I'm sure you'd to a heck of a worse job if you were in their place. Hosting a free MMO game isn't as easy as you'd think

Normally I would agree with you... but...
Second time they release a patch that only half works then have to repatch.
Hacks worked even after the patch. Not compeltely their fault tho...
In the end... They're doing their best, best free fps game out there still. -
You could probably understand how all the "QQers" feel. I don't know whether you noticed this or not but everytime a major patch is released there's always an issue, even though it is unforeseen. Which is understandable but you'd think Z8 would at least learn something from that to lessen complications in future patches.

Generally, I don't like QQing and don't like whoever does that. But when there's a serious enough issue, people need to raise their voice and complain. Let me assure you I know how things work in a business scenario. In case of a serious failure to deliver the service to customers (and i guess 4 days in this context is really serious), customers have every right to be ****ed off and demand some action.
In case a company was unable to deliver some service, ideally it would announce beforehand the time it would take to resume the normal service. In many cases, it would announce, the exact compensation the customers would receive in return to bear with this incompetence.
When some guy comes up and berates others for complaining, maybe he should look at the community's benefit rather than try to appear mature (and fail at it).
This is not some game you and your friend alone are playing where if things go wrong, it doesn't matter. Lot of people have spent money on this game and they deserve stable service in return.
If you don't like to hear any complaints, go find another planet... because on this planet, people will and should complain when they don't get what they deserve... -

i do see what you mean. but people have to remember this is a F2P game and they cant expect everything to work how it should
servers can crack at anytime and theres not much that can be done without taking the servers down to fix them (which is why people are complaining)

ive been experiencing ALOT of problems lately with crossfire as in games wont start on my end and i have had no idea why (until i messed with my registry abit and the game files to get it working again). i didnt complain once and i wasnt my fault either (one day it worked the next it didnt)
but overall i do understand what your saying but the amount of people complaining is a little extreme and seeming as noone has actually had any actual problems to them personally i dont think there should be any compensation. true people pay for the game but then its a f2p game and its their choice to pay for things in the game. -

You are missing his point. He is saying if a problem occurs then there should be compensation. If you want to look at it like this, servers went down yep timed items are still expiring. Some people lost up to 3-4 days on items that they couldn't use because of that. -

ive missed out on 9 days of my type 89 and axe and im not complaining
i just think people are expecting too much of a F2P and just raging at them

I beg to differ because making crossfire work smoothly is their job. Some of us that have jobs know that we must complete our work successfully or our job could be in jeopardy. So why shouldn't z8 do the same? Don't most of us pay to play this game at least once in a while? These problems are just slowing down our gaming expierience, goofing up our computers, and wasting our time. I can understand that problems arise once in a while but this is getting to be monotonous. I think we should all be compensated beings that we lose time on our items everytime this crapola happens. -
'Free' games have the potential to make more than games you have to buy. They do this by offering items that you can only get by paying or by making items timed. Some people pay a lot in order to get these items and a lot of people have items that expire. Weither you pay or not, your money or hard work goes down the drain when the servers crash.
This is their job, to maintain their service to the customers. Though anyone who doesn't pay has the right to stfu, people who have paid for these services have a right to question why and complain that they aren't able to use them.
Raging is an issue caused by the fact that people seem like they are getting cheated out of what they paid for. Many games will not only compensate when their server crashes, but will also add a little extra as a way of an apology. Neither happens with this game.
Downtime is usually low and at the servers lowest hours of operation so patches don't really matter that much. However, when people are unable to log onto the game they should be able to set a stop time on their items.
The truth is, anything timed should count down from IN GAME hours, but that is never going to happen. So, the very least is that when the servers are down, the timers should freeze. If you cannot see why people are complaining then you seriously need to get your head checked.
Certain raging is bad, but logical complaints that are not being completely offensive are well deserved and needed.
Praise what they do well, but do not try to cover up what they have done wrong. -
i see both sides, and i think that z8 should have learned from their mistakes, yes servers can go down at any time, but they always go down after a patch, something they should look into before they open the servers up after a patch.
and as for this game being a free game, id hardly say its free anymore, i know your all gonna say 'you dont HAVE TO pay for anything on this game' which is true, but tell me, in any game you play, pub or scrim, if you look at the players, MOST of them have atleast one thing that comes from zp. this is a free game, but a ton of people pay, a lot.
nobody is perfect, people understand that, but also people should understand that everybody learns, sooner or later, and i think theyve had enough time.
but i also understand, that z8 cant help/manage all problems at once, which is why i dont make stupid QQ threads, and i deal with it, quite frankly i dont care if i get exp in this game, i join late games, kill people, and end game, if im bored of the map im in, i leave, i just like shooting people =p.
as for the QQers, yes, technical support's page 1 is pretty much all about the servers, which is annoying as hell, they should just read the first post, and reply.

ur a dumass first people wont go to other game because they already spended 800 bucks on the freaken game or even 3000 they QQ becaUSE THEY give out money to them so they can still run in bussiness but they keep mssing up on everything they do

Subagames; west = 5-10ping, others = 60-70
Z8games; west = 10-15ping, others = 70-80+
And since the very latest patch now I'm getting 70 to 200 for no reason randomly.
My ping has only spiked up, for no reason at all randomly, since z8 took over.
If this is an american/canadian game then wtf is all I have to say. -
