A Hack Free Crossfire

It's more simple than everyone is making it out to be but a sacrifice is required in order to make this game hack free by a long shot.

Firstly, most players who hack are at the age of 12-15 simply because they lack a brain to see how they are ****ing off other players in the match. The only way to lower these hackers, the game can no longer be 'Free 2 Play'. Although this sounds like a bad idea it actually isn't.

These are reasonable prices i suggest:
- $1 to create an account. (No monthly subscription just upon each account creation)
- Take $1 off 10,000 Zp price.

That's it. A sacrifice Crossfire can take and we players can take. Everyone knows when a game is 'Free 2 Play' it will always have hackers. But add a price and it no longer contains any hacks.

I really think you should take this thread into consideration.
Oa.

- What are your opinions? (Suggest other ways if possible) The more ideas we have the better chance we can make a change.

  • You will lose more legit players than hackers this way. :o
  • This is just a suggestion, but this thread is a good way for us legit players to put across our views on how to lower/stop hacking.
  • Actually not a bad idea.I think it can cost even 5-10$. Everyone can spend 5,10,15$ for one or couple of accounts to play legitimately the game. No one legit player need 10-20 acc's, but hackers do, because they got banned and have to make a new acc and this is endless process for them. Too bad it won't happen!!!

Not sure how you know that. Must be more informed than myself =[

OT: Honestly, I'm 100% sure most hackers would leave if this was implemented. Why would they pay $1 to hack and get banned. It would stop ALOT of new comers though. I'm not going to pay $1 to start this game when I could go to some F2P FPS. It would be pretty sweet for existing players, assuming the $1 fee is for creating an account and not a fee for pre-existing accounts. Eventually existing hackers would get banned and it would be a lovely players for us legit CF players. But like I said, it would dramatically decrease the flow of incoming players, I assume, and because of that, it won't happen.
I wouldn't pay to play Cross Fire.

    Yay
  • I still lean towards a VIP or zp surver.
Removing the f2p also drops a lot of new comers. I just picked up a small group of players from combat arms, they spent enough on that game they wanted another free one to waste some time on. Turns out the hacking situation is worse their o_0
  • I think that everyone that has more than 3-4 accounts per computer should pay extra, I don't like the fact that people have to pay to play on Crossfire even though it may remove some hackers, I couldn't see this put into Crossfire.

Is that all ? I need to collect mine up. I have quite a few that wondered away from the brbusters.

Seriously, why do you need that many accounts?
  • Crossfire is meant to be Free 2 play.
You would totally destroy the concept with that and I personally would stop playing if this games goes to a P2P concept (Pay to play)

Just checked and I have 22 that I remember the info for. I can think of a few IGNs of mine from '09/'10 that I don't remember the info for =[

And I need them because. I used to level up to sarge, spin crates and make a new one (i never won a gp gun this way sadface)

That's a good idea, keep the game Free to Play but going over a certain amount of accounts will cost you money. There are plenty of games which do this and are still F2P.
  • You guys agree to this because you're all desperate. But if you would be realistic then you will know that this idea will decrease the numbers of players big time and it will end like Fishing Hero :o

You ever played BF3? Or BF4 Beta? I have seen hackers in both of those and those are $60 games. I see where your thinking but it won't work. Hacker's need to be fixed in a different way like actually patching with material that is going to last longer than 2 hours. Patch in every way possible to prevent hacks and it will be alot more difficult for hackers to code around your(Z8) code that stopped their current hacks. I have knowledge of programming and It's a total joke CF can't stop hackers. I almost think they allow it for some reason.

The game won't grow if that happens.

Maybe, but it'd be much better than dying, like what's happening right now.
  • I'll be brutally honest and if this was implemented it would stop most of the hacking:

There should not be numerous chances for so called 'banned players':

There should be like maybe 1-2 chances after that it's obvious (they will hack, they don't care).

Ban accounts via IP / Hardware information:

Closing an account or locking it means nothing and gives normal players nothing if the hacker can just easily register again the same as any new player would.

    Advertise to target licensed areas:

Sorry to burst bubbles but certain regions do hack more than others, it's not racist, it's not discrimination it's a fact. So advertise to the target audience and consider restricting some prolific hacking regions or make them less welcome.

    Kick vote sucks:

Noobs kick everyone besides the hacker, leaving decent players unable to play and hackers just loving it. Give host of the rooms the kick ability then hackers cannot play in rooms, noobs can't kick you (unless you let them), and noobs can kick everyone that kills them.

    Everyones happy.

not the already playing players, which is all we need, new players already (probably) have to deal with hackers in rookie server so they would quit anyways.

My gm alt named after you <3
  • CS has tons of cheaters. COD has tons of cheaters, both P2P. Terrible idea
  • how can $1 make this game losing legit players ? Are you that cheap that you cant even pay $1 to make an account lol ? and btw legit players should have account now ! Having this is to preventing h-ackers from creating new accounts unless they willing to pay $1 again and again lol no life nothing to say. New players would not mind paying $1 for a game, its like dont drink a cup of coffee for a day and you have your $1.
  • This could be a good ideia but $1 is not that much indeed. Z8games is doing a great job reducing the ammount of hackers ingame... When people say " z8games is only interested in money and not in players" they don't realize the ammount of effort and time devoted from Z8games...

The point is that every time a hacker gets his account banned, he'd have to pay $1 to make a new one to hack on. Alot of the hackers are younger and have no way of paying for the accounts.

Lmfao dafaq.... I have 3 good accs ^.^ I know I have 6 I know the info for and I probably have like 2-3 that I forgot all info to.. (>_>).

    Anyhow back on topic....

How would you even pay $1? I'm pretty sure most CFNA players buy zp using Prepaid Card. I'm not saying everyone does, I'm just saying that probably 50-60% do. Paypal works fine but I don't like paypal >_>...

This idea would make the game lose a lot of new comers and a lot of players who already have made an account in-game but at the same time get rid of almost all the hackers on this game. But you have to remember that this will probably never go through cause the Devs in like China/Korea wouldn't probably agree to this. Just IMO

Your completely incorrect. Maybe Z8Games needs to take a different approach than just temp banning hackers.
