speaking of players that under-performed. -
Whats the big deal they proved to be the two best teams in na. They are very even in skill and nobody blown out by the other, at the end of the day it comes out to be who has a better day
Probably the only accurate post about the match. -

what? lol
didn't know it was riding someone's D by thinking that they don't cheat
I agree, he performed poorly, but I wouldn't of even called this a lan with 60 ping, and if you think about it everyone that normally has under 60 ping performed poorly. -

Yeahhhh no.
Ping had nothing to do with that stuff. come on.
from my experience the game still feels really good on a non lan server. If you're all on the same connection its fine. -

the key is that there's no ping advantage -
There is some issues with this.
Although all players are on the same playing field with the same PC's, FPS, and Ping there still can be a peek advantage.
Depending on the ping, a player can out peek another due to there still being a delay.
So the 2013 WCG USA LAN had around say 60 ping? The higher than normal LAN ping would make it where a player would receive the information alittle slower causing a delay.
If the ping was like 200, then there would be a huge peek advantage.
I could be wrong, so dont quote me -

Clearly dumb. Just because there's the same delay between players doesn't mean there's no peek advantage. Say they had 60 ping. That means that there's an output delay to the server of 60 milliseconds, and a reception delay to another player of another 60 ping.
~120 millisecond delay between players actions. That means when you peek around a corner on your screen, what they see on their screen is really 120 milliseconds BEHIND. Peek Advantage. -

you're right, you also have to factor in right eye position errored peeks that this game provides -
