Are you guys stupid or am I? I'm pretty sure you're suppose to play 9 round halfs which means the closest the score could be is 5-4 going into the second half which are the WCG international rules. You dont play out the whole half lol. its 9 rounds strictly.

The first round of WCG.USA was like that.

    1-8 = 9/half
    2-7 = 9/half
    3-6 = 9/half
    4-5 = 9/half
    and so on

If what I am looking at is correct, the other option was to play a half until a team reaches 9 round wins. But I would not allow 10 round wins to be the deciding factor.

If youre going to be playing a full half (7 -9) then 10 rounds shouldnt be allowed for a team to win the match. In this case if the first half was A 7-9 B then Team B needs 8 rounds to win, thats if team A doesnt come back to win.

I think I'm mixing up Clan War matches with normal SnD match settings.
  • If you're supposed to play up until 9 rounds (the whole half) and then need 10 rounds to win then that's horrible since the winning team would only need one round and the other team would probably need multiple rounds if the map was sided. But yeah as Andre said it's supposed to be 9 rounds in total just like J Purvis gave examples of. On Mexico the team starting on GR would probably win 6-3 ending the half. Then they'd start on BL needing 4 rounds to win whilst the BL team switching to GR would need 6 rounds to draw and 7 to win (which would be easier of course while they're on the GR sided half) I think the new scoring will narrow down the match time appropriately and also make the matches more intense (some people probably don't understand how it works I'm guessing)
Since it's used for international competitions, it should be used here also, to prepare the teams.
