General:
The tournament will be round robin with the top 8 teams advancing to a seeded single elimination tournament.
When the tournament begins there will be a map plan that will reveal which map will be played each week, out of the pool.
Each match will be a 7 round, 5v5, with the top team on the bracket making the room and deciding which side they play first.
Prizes have not yet been decided but a ZP prize is guaranteed.
About the rosters/teams:
There will be 4 people on the roster that will be the Team Captains.
This roster may be changed by the poster up until the first round of the Round Robin
Out of the Team Captains, atleast one has to play in every match, and the other 4 members of the team can be any clan member that has been in the clan for atleast 7 days.
Anyone who was previously played for a clan, cannot play for a different clan.
Allowed Weapons:
All weapons are allowed.
However, each team is only allowed 1 of the following weapons per round:
M12S
Scar Light Variants
M4-Royal
M4-Spring
M4-Patriot
M4-X
M14 Variants
XM8 Variants
G11
Type 89
FRF2 Variants
VSK94
G36K
Also, if teams aren't paying attention to which person has the restricted weapon and 2 end up using the weapon a round will be lost. THIS DOESN'T INCLUDE PICKING UP THE DROPPED WEAPON FROM A DEAD BODY.

Recording:
You will be required to run bandicam/fraps/growler at a minimum of 10fps/10quality and you must record ALL sound. Live streaming will be allowed. No OCG AntiCheat.
Exceptions can be made for webcams if you PM me.
Disputes:
Disputes must happen within 1 hour of the time the match was reported, and the dispute must be posted on the "reporting/disputes" thread. Teams will be given 3 days (72 hours) to upload and post their recordings on the "reporting/disputes" thread. If asked by the opposing team, SS's must be taken and uploaded as soon as possible.
If disputed over membership the Leader or an LT just has to post the last 7 days of activity.
Other rules:
-1 man boosting is allowed (2 people are involved)
-Spam spotting is allowed
-Any spot where you can't be shot is not allowed
Penalties:
Every round a character item, illegal gun, or illegal glitch/boost is used, a round is deducted.
Scheduling/room information:
-As long as both teams agree, you can play in any server.
-As long as both teams agree, you can play any time before default.
-A forfeit win can be reported 20 minutes after the scheduled match time.
-Top team on the bracket is responsible for making the room
-If the game ends in a tie, two 5 round halves will be played on the same map.
-Games are 7 rounds per half
Default time/server
Default time is Saturday at 7:00 PM Eastern.
Default server is Foxtrot channel 5
Failure to play your match and report it to the "reporting/disputes" thread by Midnight (5 hours after default) will result in a tie, and will negatively impact your standings, in the Round Robin and a DDQ for the SE.

Higher seeded team bans a map (must use maps in map pool), lower seed bans a map, higher seed picks first map, lower seed picks second map, tiebreaker is decided by knife round on previous map.
Picking team and knife round winners get side choice.

REMINDER
When signing up you must be a clan server clan. If you're an ego-8 team you will not be playing. Whether not you're an ego-8 team will be decided by the admins and only if a fuss comes up about you being in the tournament will you be removed and replaced by our own discretion. This tournament is for the best "Clan Server Team" not just for anyone to join.
Due to recent complaints we will be enforcing a 16 member minimum requirement to play in this tournament

New Rule: Changing our rules on the rosters since this isn't such a strict tournament. Rosters can now be updated until the playoffs (which will then be locked). All roster updates must be done by Midnight EST on Wednesday or they won't take effect until the following week.

Wait so if one person from the other team who dies and has a wallbang gun, another person can pick it up? (So the team would have 2 wallbang guns). -
Can't stop everything. This is merely for fun to give a clan a title. I know a lot of peoples voices as well as others so if someone is seemingly smurfing on someones account there will be penalties.

But it's a clan wide tourney so there are things to deal with. Having a "Team" within the clan only lets the clan show those members. Of course the better players will be playing but other players also get a chance and hopefully will cure the no show problem. -
How about to play for your team you at least have to be a 2nd lt? That will eliminate smurfs or the rank before that sfc i think.
Rank wouldn't stop smurfing. I have 3 accounts that are over butter bar.
Also, if the account is in the clan it is eligible to play regardless of who it is. There will always be some ego-8 players in clan server clans even with high ranks. It's just stopping whole teams from ego-8 joining the tourney. There are plenty of players in the clan server clans who could easily outplay ego-8 players all day anyway. -
Aero can i make a suggestion?
Instead of the Top Seeded team picking a side, why not knife it out on the map and winner chooses a side(?) Seems more fair
I'll talk to konrad about it but it's just not easy to pull off in this game. So many rules go into it such as no planting, no wasting the clock, knife ONLY, then when the round is won everyone has to leave and switch sides (if needed) and start the game again. Also in such a relaxed ruleset people will not have a knife in their bag or not pay attention to the rules. This is sort of why a captain is required to play each match to cover the rules with the people playing then it truly is their fault if they lose a round for not following any rules.
