Hey Erick man I appreciate you wanting to know how everything is going. The people responding to this PLEASE DON'T just put what needs to be changed also note what you do like about it! That can be used for future leagues and tournaments to come!
I personally like how intimate you are with your project. You really care how well this goes and not just doing to be like, " I have a league". One thing I would like to see improve is the point system concept. I like the idea of the point system but when I go to check to see who is in the lead I see teams with the same amount of points, but one of the teams have a loss and the other doesn't but the team with the loss is ahead of the team without any. I do not understand that. But Other than that it is cool. O yea I also like how you have the match of the week.
Thanks Man and Good Job. -

I think that at this point, with a website that doesn't allow him to do much, hes just grouping teams with the same amount of points at their respected place on the leader board. Since this is not like ESEA where teams with similar records are matched up with each other as the season goes on. The standings are not really even relevant until the the regular season is over.
I know what you're saying, but I'm sure it will be improved with a new website. -

No its because you get a point based on wins each half thereby skewing the results.
My upload speed on a good day, usually its 600kb/s -

the experience has been great although we aren't doing so hot..its been going fine.
tbh the casted matches...thats about it.
almost everything...
get a anti-cheat #1
ask teams to included another way that the teams can get a hold of u like lets say where u list the teams at on the website next to the leader or co leader maybe put there xfire or email...it might make things a little more easy for team to get a hold of one another..
what u could do is the week before the next match release the map 2 weeks ahead of time..this way teams can not only practice for one map but also practice for the next match the next week....i know when my team is practicing for the weeks match it gets alot boring and some teams dont like to scrim that map over and over again..
also with the rules lets say someone breaks the rules there should be a game ban for the next week meaning they cant play in the following weeks match..i understand it might be harsh but when u sign up for a league/tournament THE TEAM should know the rules and follow them...maybe put that in next season?
just my thoughts...
keep working as u are so far the league is great and its really all we have!
nice job!
ps..just some rambling... -
@Erick I really like what you're doing with CFL keep it up!
@Wizdom I could use my team as an example because each game we lost we managed to at least get one half and the games we won we got both halfs. The games that a lot of the teams lost they didn't get a half.
Game 1 - 1 point for getting the 1st half
Game 2 - 3 points for getting both halfs
Game 3 - 1 point for getting the 2nd half
Game 4 - 3 points for getting both halfs
8 points overall
To some of the teams that are behind mine and have a better record it's because the match they lost they didn't get a half then the games they won they let the other team get a half.
To me I find this a fair ranking system '"every half counts" you can hear it in my pov. But then again I might just be bias. -

I think the every half counts gives a bit of a bias to teams who have a much weaker schedule then others thereby giving more points towards them.
IE: On factory any half competent team should be able to win ct side. If you get 6-8 rounds on T side of that map, its considered a blowout. Thereby making every "team" get at least 1 point on that map. -

This is true. We won bl on mexico which imo shouldn't happen. -

Any team can win any half the map doesn't matter. -
People who do not upload there bandicams should first get a 1-2 week ban and then for the second offense a season ban.
You cannot force people to upload bandis so if they have any reason to not want to upload they can get the team they are playing for disqualified. (This has happened to us twice)
Other than that great job, you should hire 1-2 more staff members to make things quicker and more smooth.
