CFL Mid season feedback
Hey everyone,
We're now halfway through this season of CFL.
How has the experience been for you? ( The players )
What do you like?
What do you not like?
What can we improve?
Take a second to post, it would be greatly appreciated.
I'll try to answer as many posts as i can.

It would be nice if scores of matches were posted on the "Schedule&Result" page.
Sucks that threads get auto-closed by webs, com.
I also made the mistake of using a different site for schedules instead of just using challonge. I didn't know they had a round robin feature. That way all results would be right there, and standings would be auto updated.make divisions or prolong the season until all teams have faced every team
This isn't going to happen.
However we will be making our playoffs 16 teams to help resolve some of the problems related to every team not facing each each other at least once. -
I had planned on posting all results on the page. The problem is the page is just so buggy.. Webs is actually really bad. We can't do anything about it..

have a mumble dedicated for cfl if there's any questions or problems. -

Xfire/email should suffice for that.
Make it so cheating/bandicam issues is more player punishment then team, the setup right now is that the players themselves receive very little punishment and teams face severe. IE: players leaving teams after their bandies mess up and joining new teams.
Forcing teams to be active in match scheduling would be nice. Ie things like -- 1st post "Seeya default PZ later" or the classic day before default over xfire "Hey haven't seen you on xfire all week can we do match tonight?" Make an automatic acception after 24 hrs of a scheduled date like esea does to force teams to schedule more -

I do feel we lacked player punishment this season, and that's our fault. We will work out a better system for issues like this in the future.(We're already working on it)
For scheduling we have a default time for a reason. You sign up for the league knowing thats the default. If you can't make it don't play.
We can't force teams to try and schedule with you. That's not the way it works. -
=.= Increase the upload bandi time if possible ? T_T My team lost 3 points because we didnt have time to upload it in time I know 2 days time is alot but I mean 2 days during weekdays , you know some players that dont even have time to touch the computer ...

48 bours is plenty of time to get a bandicam uploaded.. if you record at our required settings it shouldnt take more then an hour to upload. -

The file size difference is minuscule and probably won't matter to those who have god awful upload speeds. -

Is the file size difference really that small? I wouldn't know, if anybody has some numbers, they'd be appreciated just for curiosity's sake.
And actually Slaya, the lower the person's upload speed, the MORE difference a small change in file size is going to make. It'd be less important to people with faster upload speeds. Unless you're saying the general filesize is just too damn big anyways. -

I'm trying to say that the difference is that small that it won't make a difference. Not complaining or anything, I have 300 kb/s upload speed and for me to upload a full match (depending on how long the match is) can range from 1 1/2 hours to 2 1/2 hours, it's just an inconvenience.
There are others who have much worse upload speed than I do for some reason and they live in the states. And no usually the file size isn't some ridiculous amount like fraps files. -

Actually the U.S. has some pretty ****ty internet iirc :O
And yeah, I'm not saying uploading isn't a *****, because I wouldn't know. Just trying to clarify posts. -

300-400 mbs takes a over a day to upload? lol?
My upload speed is below average and i can get it uploaded pretty fast.
(i say that number because thats normally the size of mine) -
well i dunno what settings CFL's standards are at, but at my settings (60 fps, 80q) an hour match gets me a bandi file over 20 gigs. It takes over 700 hours to upload on youtube if I don't render it.
For people who don't have full bandi, takes time and effort to upload. -
