we aren't close to the worst and we get a few laughs here and there. we have the serious times and the not so serious times. in the end it is just a game. i respect what schneider did and the old reputation is still there
Me to like he said its only a game.and everyone respects schneider hes a legend for serenity and for all of us and like he said we r not bad.were just trying to get as good as b4(proberly never happen lol)but we have beaten alot of great clans out there clans that people think that we would not beat.But were back to have fun.and own.:P -

The old Serenity was the best thing I was ever part of, those guys were my family and I was online with them every night scrimming or just staying up late exchanging youtube links. I'm rather unhappy that Schneider decided to bring it back, as we were remembered as being great, and now we'll be remembered by whatever reputation this new line up lays out.
Jio come on, considering the amount times that lagging Euro got a nice opening pick or dropped 20 kills you could at least remember him!
By the way, step one to recreating Serenity. Keep everyone off the forums and everyone off in game chat until pudgypaw gets back. Even then most likely it will remain the same, Serenity had a lot of respect simply because we rarely accused a player of hacking openly (I believe Throne was the only time anything really happened), we did not trash talk, we kept it to gg, gh, and happy faces. That being said, perhaps it would be better to take the clan into a different direction. That path did not go so well last time around. -
I just must say out of all of this that i respect serenity now more then anything.
Especially schnieder, because throughout all this pessimism and a lot of negative comments towards them and the players he is still going to make the clan and do whats best. Atm i respect schnieder more then anyone in the game.

I think anyone that was in Serenity knows whats up. While Schneider was not around for most of it. Or missed quite a lot of the drama the people that where there know a thing or two.
Please allow me to make my self clear...
First of all, reality is not always pretty. The fact is Serenity was seen as a top 5 clan at various points. Most of the players that were starters in Serenity went on to join other strong clans.
What most people are saying is, sometimes its better to let something stay dead. Its like when a former star comes back to play again. They may be good, but they may not live up to the expectations of the general public. Therefore they may tarnish their former reputation.
Before in Serenity the rules were pretty simple, you kept off the forums, you didnt troll or bash others needlessly, you did not speak in clan matches , you did not accuse other players of hacking and you kept things clean on ventrilo. It was strict, but thats how things worked... if something needed to be delt with on the forums pudgypaw would type out an essay, if someone in the clan was accused of hacking pudgypaw, sneeze or my self would contact the other team and work things out... it was not easy or simple.
If the goal was to recreate Serenity, then it would appear that things are already going downhill. Serenity was respected because of the level of disipline displayed. However this is only my opinion, for many players it was about other things...
That being said, I can only hope that they will have fun and perhaps make Serenity into something greater then what it once was. -

TBH, we were going to kick him in the beginning but here in Serenity, we give people a chance..it has been like this since the beginning. He has been cooperating well so far and definitely changed his ways for the most part. He is looking to improve and is a big fan of the clan so he is here to stay for now. But of course, as everyone in Serenity knows..I'm the nice quiet guy in the clan xD

Sneeze, he got kicked at least once if not twice from Serenity before it broke up. I think it was to do with his attitude and level of skill. -

yea i know that and remember it quite well, but there's a lot of people in Serenity that actually agreed to give him a chance and allow him to stay lol. I guess as long as he behaves now, Serenity is okay with him.
but dang..this whole Serenity coming back kinda blew up..not what I intended at all when I joined. =|
Where is pudgy when you need him? I want to see an epic essay from him =P -
We scrimmed serenity yesterday about 6 or 7 times and they were all good games.
Solid clan, solid players, nice guy's, don't QQ.
As for Kenny, I pubbed with him, and he didn't QQ when he died... altho I already saw him cry a bunch over global chat... lol
I think it's a good thing they give him a chance...
On another note, GL to Serenity, might never be the OLDSerenity, but doubt they want to be anyways....

who i am shouldn't really matter because everyone is entitled to their opinion and thats mine. Also, i'm sorry but i have no clue how your response has anything to do with the respect i have towards schnieder because that was mainly what my post was about. And like your last statement, i agree because thats what i'm saying, i respect him for trying to remake the clan through all the things going on, even if its to have fun but hopefully become better..... -

Bruce, every time I scrim now I'm going to think of this post and be like, "This kill is for Bruce! Keep his name good!" Yeah. Right.
Nobody is going to change the fact that we're back, and flaming our "bad lineup" isn't gonna do anything. Yesterday, we scrimmed Sorry and beat them 10-8, and during the weekend, we scrimmed lPaRaDoXl and beat them once, and tied them. So I'd say we have a pretty solid lineup right now, and we're hoping to go up against the legendary clans soon, and have some good scrims. GL to everyone. -
Serenity sure has cause some dino drama once again in the forums. As Cypher has said we were really never apart of top5 clans..even tho tbh i dont remember 5 top clans being powerhouses. It was more like A51 x2 and AMPT. and the rest were not around them.. We would put up a fight, even get a few tied games but never the top5 err top3? Later ofcourse LL picked its game up(AMPT i do believe.) when A51 disbanded and Ax. picked up strong players. Near the end Radium did as well. but anyways.
A little insulted that i dont get a view in Serenity coming back but o well, ima let you know how i feel anyways. (could be cause i dont play anymore, but theres a good reason)
Dont do it. You know damn well why not..Its quite selfish. Do explain why you need to bring Serenity out now? just move on. The community has changed rapidly in a few months. Let us remain one of the old clans that were decent yet respectable.
Also...you were really like a figure head in Serenity. Pudgy was the true leader. Ask anyone here...lol. No hating but thats just the reality. I am probably going to come back. But just how the Clan is looking right now idk if i would consider Serenity as a choice. Real Disappointing. -
Just have to react cos of all the ppl being so schneider was this schneider was that for serenity those things are so falls, Name 1 REAL serenity member that sees schneider as the leader i think there wont be many that will name schneider over pudgy i mean schneider prolly wont even remember me he wasnt even there most of the time (highly inactive).

For the record, I considered JSchneider my leader for my entire stint in Serenity. Plenty of things happened with JUST me and him. I had 1to1 meetings with him outside of CF. Sometimes on Vent, sometimes elsewhere. Schneider and I chipped in for Vent 50/50. I always kept him up to date and he made the bigger decisions. I handled daily grinds, and that's what an LT is supposed to do.
He was juggling a restaurant job and an acting career. I didn't start my own business until later (so I was technically unemployed). He and I both lived at home with parents at the time. He was unavailable due to circumstance.
We have got to quit bashing my ex-superior.
I will start a thread soon that will fully detail my take on recent events. But for now let's commit this thread to rest. Thanks.
