nope. Saidin is a GM.. Game Master. Like a FallenAngel or HPX. They aren't a usual members of the community or Z8Games staff. They decide policy here. So - let's free them from the PM from users. [GM]Saidin's a GM, also known as a game manager, not a game master. FallenAngel is a game manager as well, while [GM]Hpx is a game master. A game manager and a game master are two different positions and call-signs.
FallenAngel and Hpx aren't as active users on the community forums as Saidin is, therefore not a lot of users notice them and PM them. Again, this toleration of all users being able to post in special places of the forums will only cause nothing else but spam and unnecessary comments.
PMs are to privately be able to communicate with the staff and of course, all the other users, that's what PMs are for. Some messages may be very important that people don't wish for others to know of, that's why it's necessary to PM [GM]Saidin. If there's a such forum board, or special place as you said, where we can express our thoughts and post whatever we wish to, it's not as private anymore. Instead it's completely open for everyone to read. -

That's why making a sub-forum where you can talk to MODs, GM's, etc. where only you and them can see your threads is a great idea. It's very much possible on vBulletin. -

yes, sometimes we need to PM [GM]'s... but, SOMETIMES... RARELY...
and only in exceptional cases. The main communication must be opened for community, imho. -

Not quite necessary at all...
I personally would like to have my own privacy. But as cfUGL stated, there could be a private option where only you and Saidin can see each other's messages and notifications of each other's messages being posted. In addition, be able to completely block and avoid other posts. -

my suggestion must lead to down spam to GM's, because it's not too easy - find in a BIG basket of spam something urgent and important. my suggestion must lead to improve communication between a game administration and users. -
That is why we have a lot of MODS on this forums.i read the GM-Saidin's open letter to all and propose: let's open a sub forum, which must replace a PM for him. I bet, that solution can help [GM]Saidin to communicate with all community and stop spam in other forums. -

my idea is basically that we have a sub-forum where the most "intelligent" people of the forum gather and discuss ideas, future events, suggestions, improvements, something like that.
it doesn't even have to be seen by the public, only the few people would be able to see it. again, this is not a alternative of messaging a GM. -
