  • I like the idea, I have posted the similar idea before.

    My version was complex. But here is some modification and combination from mine.

    1. To make it easy, a player's blacklist is only effective before logout, at the beginning stage, no need to save the list into database. Otherwise, this would looks too complex for them. Also, the list cannot be infinitely long, banned player must be removed.

    2. Players can add hacker to list during game, but the list is only effective when you are a host.

    2. When they are ready to save it into database, we can also count how many blacklisted player get finally banned, based on the percentage, we would know if a host is really good at hosting a game, and if the percentage can be shown as a color bar before each room, we can know whick room is better to join. Players will gain respect for what he has done. The number can also be used to weight vote, and assign vote limitation. Hosts who blacklisted lots of not banned players are more likely to kick ace for no reason (they either don't report it, and no other think it should be reported, or his reports never get approved.)

    The current kick system is only the real time protection availabel to players. But the vote kick system need to be improved. The only way to improve, in my opinion, is to take the voter's perfromance at hacker detection and reporting. The one who reported more hackers, and more accurately should definitely get more weight in his vote than those smily face or ace hater. Without this weight, the hacker can not be kicked because newbie want his help to win, and legit players can easily be kick, as forumer complained about the system.

    Also another addition, when the host is with very bad reputation, (the percentage is too low, the room should choose another host with higher percentage automatically after a game). Just to ensure every game will finally be well maintained finally.

    But sometimes I just feel to angry when MoD closing thread that quickly. Sometimes you can find that they have not understand what is going on.

    I think I had seen a MOD said : Why can't I see any hacker? Close it.

    Anger will make me forget some pinhole small rules.


    BTW, we need no two thread, it is perfectly ok to combine and improve the two in your way to create a better one.

    I know you are so pro that every one have to think you are hacking.

    But there are several solution for you:
    1. Open you own room.
    2. Join any open room and kill the hackers, I think you must be the same or more pro level than they are.

    Excuse for my ENglish.

    What I mean is, you can take the idea from two posts (or even more), improve and polish them, and create a better posts.

    All we need to do is to let the MOD read, understand and finally think it is worth doing, and at last GM can be informed.

    If we merged, they would pick any problem in any post to reject it. And there is less chance they would read it.

    What we need now is feasible and efficient solution, and feedback to further improve it. Our goal is to create some fix in the game, not in the forum.

    Based on the x-trap patch effectiveness & frequency, the fact that some hack are not easily detected, and the speed of hack update after each patch, I think players must have some more powerful method than votekick. Otherwise, most of the game time will be featured with hackers.

    Reporting and ban is not in the same pace with hackers increasement. Only dynamic and real time solution to restrict hacker is using the community. I wish z8 can realize this and finally create new method. What we can do is provide our thinking, even it seldom catches any attention.

    You can edit what you like from my post and stick it onto your first post; i really would like to see this in CF. I think it would be good for the legit players and less hassel for the support team.

    the most feasible way now is to allow host to view the whole player list who joined the last game, and the ability for host to mark a player to be kicked after game for a reason. System need just count the most kicked players and support team priorize the review based on it.

    Mainly problem now is we can not kick player after he leaves, players can rejoin after gaem start.
