Seems like they're almost on par with bld (not sure about now, but when they sponsored affliction) in regard to what they offer.

Hi,

My name is Alex "aka Boogerman", sorry for bumping this thread but I feel the community need a proper answer about what we offer and about my situation.

Now about my experience as some of you may have never heard of me I was before making EKS a team manager in the early days for area51gaming, STFU gaming, Team Hausen, Frag Dominant and the graphical director and esports business manager of V8servers and V8esports LoL http://leaguepedia.com/wiki/V8_Esports I also worked with quite a good number of well known esports name as a Graphical Director and Business manager. Gaming is a past time for me as for my real job well.. Im in the army so that should give you an idea why Im not the most active person in the world.

Now let's cut to the point.

EKS is quite a small organization, I would even say it's a group as of right now, everything behind EKS is backed up by me, we do not have any official sponsors backing us up at the moment but I happen to have some good contact so I get a lot of free servers which are powered by high quality NFO servers at the moment. What we offer is a mumble server and an image for your team wich is what the website is for, we are not a very big pro multi-gaming team and I don't have the ressources to provide money, t-shirts or gaming equipment, this unfortunately requires sponsors and in order to obtain those I need players, traffic on the website and dedication and as well as achievements in order to acquire sponsorships. A lot of people think sponsorship come easily and money from contracts or deal are easy to obtain when you make a gaming team which is not the case. I just can't offer free money to the first team telling me they will go to a LAN tournament, it just doesn't work that way unless I put them under a contract but let's not get into the legal stuff.

Starting out fresh as a new team once again is quite difficult and what I was trying to offer was not something really complicated and out of proportion but just a simple service that can help certain players who can't afford everything such as a website and a VOIP server and by getting this service they look more organized. Yes I had a previous discussion with certain teams and I was quite truthful about what we had to offer and I never mentioned giving free gaming equipment so I do not know where this information came from, I still fail to understand why some of the players here are quick on bashing. Some of you people may call us a fake sponsorship or may not like or would prefer to get more but this is what we have to offer but in the end being a sponsorship is providing you with a service no matter what it is and this is what we do so I hope this clear the frustration and the confusion.
