My logic now that we have WCG is to comply with WCG. International play is the main objective now. That is the standard and that is what all teams should be aspiring for. If z8 would get on board with the ********** league pass idea so we could pay $8-15 to play in a league that is:
1. supported/advertised by z8 and run by competent individuals
2. Anti-cheat
3. Included 60 days of armor (or however long the season is)
1. z8 supports and advertises nearly all the tournaments in some way.
2. Just wait for the FG AntiCheat or find someone to purchase the myac
3. z8 has had the stance for quite some time that they aren't going to do some reduced price armor package. It is the players responsibility to purchase the armor or get it through other means. -

Obviously you don't have reading comprehension skills. An individual was going to pay for my plane ticket to toronto, not FG. Someone msg'd me on xfire asking if I would play for their team on lan if all the expenses were paid for. Not once have I expected FG to pay for the teams to go to lan. Also, I don't currently have a team. I am waiting for the WCG announcement like all the other good players. I'm currently pugging with Carbon in CFL, but that isn't anything serious.
I got banned from WOGL, because denxi and I attempted to prove a point. In short I got permbanned from WOGL for posting on the z8 forums. Luckily Laura convinced them to unban me.
As for csgo it was more or less a matter of gun/recoil management. CS is CS. 1.6/csgo/css once you understand the game and how players play, it is really easy to play. I just didn't feel like spending the time to get competent. It also doesn't help that my PC runs the game like crap leading to inconsistencies, but that is a moot point. Perhaps if I had more chemistry with my teammates I would of had more stock in the team, but it just wasn't there.
I don't need luck. Chance is a stupid concept to rely on. Then again a team like yours might need all the luck it can get. -

It isn't that I can't get to the lan financially, it is that I don't want to go unless it was paid for. There is a bit of a difference there. -

Furthermore, 2 months is not right before LAN. For WCG 2011, HT got just over like 2 weeks of practice on Ankara. It wasn't even released in our version when the WCG GF rules/maplist went out.
This is arguably the first big event our version has come up with, so why not set the standard now? Procrastinating is just going to yield poor results once again. After the lan is over and there is nothing left but ZP cups, the players will grow bored and leave once again till WCG 2013. It has happened like clock work for the last 3 years.

I'm not moaning about your team. You're team is terrible. Period. End of story. I guess Carbon would count as my team, but it isn't very serious. We don't go over calls, warmup in FFA/TDM, make strats, watch demos, or anything else that I normally would associate as the things a team does. I spend about as much time messing around with zp/wallbang weapons with spop and armor in e8 as I do scrimming. When andre/brando/fire message me, if I am free I play. If not it is no big deal. -

Look, the rules got changed because it was for the best of the LAN.
We want as many people there as possible, and to be comfortable with a ruleset. I wish people could be happy with the previous ruleset but in all, this ruleset is the more of the norm.
I really do hope future tournaments and events would use the previous ruleset made by Denxi, it would be fun, interesting, and above all different. A pro/competitive player needs to be good and ready for anything and not for one thing. You might be the best at one basic ruleset but that doesnt prove anything.
As for the Armor, it will be used if given temporarily to the attendees at LAN. Besides a full set is 3200K ZP which is under $5.
