Purvis, you should not worry about the accomodations but rather the location of the venue...should have arranged to played at the Eaton Center, more traffic (girls
....this way people can stay where ever they like.
I commend you on your efforts as this is not an easy task you have taken on. -
I have stayed at many hotels during lans and travel
A) I have never had to submit a deposit, I have always used a Debit Card
There is no deposit required for this hotel if I go through it by normal means
C) No hotel in the world accepts straight up cash as a form of payment (Unless I'm Bond and handing the dude 3000 bucks)
D) Someone still needs to answer on the internet. Most hotels I've stayed at can barley load forums or keep a stream of netflix going without crashing. Does this one have enough to have 40 people playing crossfire at once + Streams?

The reason we are not at the Eaton Centre is that it will be loud and hard for everyone to hear and watch.

The venue for the event will have 24mbps on separate connection from the rest of the hotel.
10 PC's will will be using that connection. A separate PC for streaming will on another line. -

can players not book a hotel, rather travel if they are close? -
if players dont stay at the hotel how would players know where to meet up?
Is there a schedule to all of the events?
Until we know how many teams will show up, the schedule will not be known.
But the event will most likely start around noon. If its a double elimination then we might start sooner in the morning. -
For anyone who has questions regarding travel and commuting within the city, please let me know.
I'll throw up some general information from both the major airports within the city (Pearson and Button) and some point tonight/tomorrow.
I'd actually like some info on: Theaters, Good places to eat (like restruants ) and huka-bars and best place to get beer
